I'm pretty new to the area, but I am wondering if anyone can recommend good roadee roads close to the northern suburbs / boulder?
You know, scenic view, very light traffic. A drive where you can chill out and smoke a few joints?

Give me a break, like the cops are going to go stakeout a road because someone went for a drive and smoked a doobey. Somebody is a little too paranoid.

No offense intended ass..., but does your user name refer to some obscure sub-genre of porn or music?
Just curious.

More towards music.
Back in the day (over a decade ago) I was a rave promoter. There was this guy Kurt who ran a production company called Drop Bass Network. They were early into the hardcore genre, and had great European talent. That kinda kickstarted a huge following of Hardcore in the midwest.
Anyways to make a long story short, two of our local Hardcore DJ's were Dan Doormouse and Anonymous. At one of the big outdoor festivals they had a tent the "Asscore Hardcore Circus". I was tripping balls and thought the name was funny. I've used it for my forum handle ever since.

I was there believe it or not.
Went to many Even Furthurs and other Midwest shit back in the day.
The "Asscore Hardcore Circus" tent. Was that at Even Furthur 2001? The DIY area where everyone was wearing diapers and all kinds of weird pron was being shown, right? I think they were incorporating a real drum kit into the mix too.
Someone torched the wooden effigies a night early. I think that was the last Further Kurt did. About the time when the shit started to get cracked out and that "rave-act" law was passed.
Addict records and Drop Bass were the bomb. At least DEMF/Movement stepped up to fill the void after them.
I bought one of Kurt's old stock T-shirts about four years back. I think he's an organic farmer now right? I used to live in Pilsen next door to the graphics guy he used for some of his shirts and flyers.
Jeez If I only had a tape deck, I'd pull out my old promo mix tapes. Delta 9 was my personal fave at the time.
Small world. Good times. Damn I miss that. :D

I went to UNC. There is a road east of town off 34 near kersey, county road 49. The road is totally straight from greeley to i76, very smoker friendly. We used to pile in the car and drive until we smoked half our stash, then turn around to go back home. We only got to i76 once, that was a lot of smoking. The straight road was friendly to the activities going on in the car.
Obviously this is hypothetical.

Stay home... it's safer for everyone. Polling indicates that the prospect of stoned drivers like yourself and the public safety threat they pose was one reason why Prop 19 failed.

It isn't worth dealing with DUI charges for smoking a joint in the car.
According to the law, you must medicate indoors out of sight of others. Don't abuse your rights as a patient.

Yea that Furthur was the one @ Black River Falls in 2000. Things were already circling the drain then.
The last one in 2001 was even worse. Cops, drama, etc.
In retrospect I wish he would have stopped in '99.

I won't give away my favorites, but look at the maps.
Roads that follow water or railroad tracks are usually scenic, as are roads over the high passes. Some of my favorite places I've found by making sure I had a full tank of gas and taking off down some side road labeled 'Forest Access'. Finding them is half the fun.

You gonna tell that to the cop if you're smoking a joint and get pulled over?
I appreciate your point of view and I agree, but if you get pulled over and admit to smoking within the last 8 hours (any amount at all), you're eligible to be arrested for DUID(rugs). This is the threshold that is being considered 'impairment'. Since there is no roadside test to determine impairment, law enforcement will instead lead the 'suspect' into admitting ingesting/smoking within that 8 hour timeframe.
Local jurisdictions like Littleton and Centennial that are hot spots for DUI's will increase arrests like this. If they can't get patients for simple possession in the car, they'll get their arrests/$ this way. Convictions won't stand up in court, but enforcement still gets their quota/budget moving forward.

Slight paranoia has kept me out of jail bro. It's retarded for people to publicly post WHERE THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW. Find your own fuckin' roads bro and don't run your mouth. It wouldn't be too hard for them to relocate one speed trap onto that road.... far from a stakeout. One additional cop on that road is too much for me.

FWIW, I think a great place to smoke in that area is the trail around Lily Lake.

"My concept of death for a long time was to come down that mountain road at 120 and just keep going straight right there, burst out through the barrier and hang out above all that . . . and there I'd be, sitting in the front seat, stark naked, with a case of whiskey next to me and a case of dynamite in the trunk . . . honking the horn, and the lights on, and just sit there in space for an instant, a human bomb, and fall down into that mess of steel mills. It'd be a tremendous goddam explosion. No pain. No one would get hurt. I'm pretty sure, unless they've changed the highway, that launching place is still there. As soon as I get home, I ought to take the drive just to check it out." -HST
