I've noticed an odd trend over the years I've been smoking (quarter per week or more).
Quite a few times, someone in my family will get sick with a contagious illness, and like clockwork it will begin to spread to the other family members in my household.
Yet in each case, despite having plenty of contact with the contagious individual, I never got sick.
Had a bad case of strep throat go around this year, the only people who didn't get it were me and my dad (who also smokes).
Right now a bad flu is going around, my brother even threw up all over the bathroom that I use on a daily basis. Again, almost everyone is sick now except me.
Coincidence or is there something about Cannabis that helps your resistance against contagious illnesses? I know that Cannabis can act as an Anti-biotic for the ears, nose, and throat. That may have explained why it helped against strep-throat but as far as I know the flu is a virus and not caused by bacteria so not sure about that one.
