So I have a test tomorrow :mad: and I read somewhere that you can use your own urine to get the temp right and dump the dirty urine in the toilet and put the clean urine in the cup. now, my question is does the temp drop or stay at the temp it reached? and what is a way to keep the sub urine warm? I'm using a 6oz bottle (I made sure it fits between my legs... I'm a female). I also read that if the sub urine is low to just rub your finger on your pants and touch the temp until it reaches a good temp. Please help!!

Hand warmers are best for maintaining temperature as well as holding it close to your body. If you plan to get a sample from a friend, then make sure to get it a couple hours before the test. Human urine starts to break down after 8 hours and will be useless. The temp will drop stlightly when you pour it into the cup, but if your temperature is 98 when you do so, you'll be fine. Collectors look for the sample to be between 90-100 degrees, but to avoid suspicious, you should try to give them the sample between 95-98 degrees.

Yes, rubbing your finger on your pants will raise the temperature and blowing on the cup will lower the temperature. A baby thermometer works well for checking your temp, just beware of the ones that beep.... That's not a sound you want coming from the bathroom.
