I've just come across a couple of items that are said to prevent bud rot. One is in the US, and the other from the UK. Its supposed to stop rot and prevent further attacks. Has anyone had experience with either product? I know a lot of people would love to find a solution to this problem.

Bonide Product 166 Rot-Stop Concenatrate 16 Oz. (http://www.acehardwareoutlet.com/ProductDetails.aspx?SKU=7085624)

Bud Rot Stop 250ml / Disease control / Growth enhancers / AquaCulture Hydroponics (http://www.aquaculture-hydroponics.co.uk/product.aspx?productID=1402&categoryID=11&subCategoryID=243)

Just looking at the

Bonide Product 166 Rot-Stop Concenatrate 16 Oz- Its just a calcium product. This is mainly for the prevention in Blossom End Rot in tomatoes.

Bud Rot Stop 250ml- Doesn't have much info on it. But it looks like its not a sulfur, copper, or calcium product. It sounds like its more of a ACT (aerated compost tea). It says
100% natural bacterial liquid so I think the bacteria colonizes on the plant and doesn't let the PM or Botrytis take ahold.

Out of the two I would go with the Bud Rot Stop. But, I donā??t truly know if it would work.
I do know for a fact that ACT(aerated compost tea) will not allow PM or Botrytis to take ahold.
And if needed the best way to get rid of any mold is GreenCure fungicide for curing and preventing powdery mildew, blights, molds and other plant diseases (http://greencure.net/)
Hope this helps
