AKA grow... advice MORE than wecome

:thumbsup: Hows it going... this is my 3rd time... still learning for sure....

I am growing in Roots organic soil... right now the ladies are in 4 gallon buckets...
I am using an Easy Cool hood with a 600 watt HPS bulb... growing in a 4ftX4ftX6.5ft tent... Using a carbon filter with scrubber as well... circulating fan on the ladies as well... pictures will follow...

Nutrients: Foxfarm Big Bloom & Tiger Blom, Ginormous, Bushmaster, Gravity, Carbload, Snowstorm ultra, calmag... getting liquid seaweed and Sweet Raw soon...

Right now ladies are in their 2nd week of flowering.... looking ok... except one.. all of the new growth and tip of leaves are a pale to light green..

When I feed I ph the water to 6.5 and then add nutrients....
when I just water I ph the water down to 5.9..Just started this, I used to ph it to 6.5 but using other advice now... weeddaddy

I would say I feed twice a week and water once... just depends on how the plant and soil is....

thanks! yea they are getting a little tall... I FIM'ed one, hoping the other will be ok.... honestly it is no strain I know of... It is bagseed... I am having trouble with yield tho... I am not sure if i harvest too early or what.. so hopefully this log and you all can help me on that part!:jointsmile:

here is lady 1 looks ok... using foxfarm BB, TB, and advanced Ginormous, carboload and humbolt co. snow storm ultra. also just started with liquid seaweed once a week :jointsmile: let me know what you think

lady 2 using the same thing as before with her... nutes are fed when water is ph'd down to 5.7 now... then back down to around 5.6-5.8 after nutes added. any thoughts on this?? also they seem to be rather thirsty.. so I am feeding with Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom + Ginormous one day and then on the next feeding I am using Snow Storm Ultra + Liquid Carbload. This plant is rather small... def the smallest and least bushy of the 4.

lady 3 she is pretty bushy :thumbsup: def should have a decent yield I would assume... using the same with her as the others.... I am thinking maybe to use all my nutes together heavy with her and then one day of liquid seaweed then one day to flush... any thoughts?

this is lady 4 same as the others week 3 of flower... I have gravity that i plan to use 3 weeks before harvest to firm up the buds... this one looks to have a good chance at being a bulky bully... :jointsmile:

the temperature is about 77-78 F when lights on... and around 73 F when lights off.. humidity when lights on is 44% and when lights off it is 38% sound ok with everyone?

so i was reading in the bible and it said that giving the ladies magnesium sulfate is a bad idea.. I just got some Sweet Raw with is MG(1.5%) & S(2%) or Magnesium Sulfate... should I avoid using the sweet raw? and if not can I use it with other nutrients when i feed? any answers appreciated:jointsmile:

I do not believe this is a problem.

looking good right now. next time do some topping to get a little bushy.

I am also using the Bud X factor with some success.

yea i went away for 2 days and those were the days it really had the most vertical growth i am going to try to top them next time earlier... I hope they are alright... 3/4 are showing a lot of nice crystals starting on the leaves by the buds... looks like a little snowstorm ... but the other one isnt showing those signs and just is kind of linky(lanky), but has bud growth..

Appreciate the input.... will be posting pics prob sunday or sat when i feed... week 4 of flower... thinking of starting gravity next week just because it says to use 3-4 weeks before harvest but I am bad at determining harvest time, nevertheless early lol...

Here are a few pics of the ladies... the honestly look like a damned dandelion.. you know the kind you used to blow all of the seeds off of.. except my ladies dont have the seeds:wtf: anyway... anyone help me get some density? or some bigger buds? I am just starting week 5 of flowering... using Foxfarm BB, TB and also, Advanced Nutrients Liquid carbload and also sweet tea(used infrequently) I also have Ginormous and Snowstorm Ultra and Gravity (havent used yet, I guess i should try some) anyway.. some of the buds have some good look to them while others just look puffy all hairs.. any help would be great... check out the pics:thumbsup:

Don't panic yet... Our last grow, we ended up with one singe sweet tooth... We thought we were not gonna get anything off her, she was long and lancky with these itty bitty fluffy buds (well some bigger buds, but really fluffy and airy) She greew hoooj her bottom branches were dragging the floor, but she looked so pathetic we though we'd get maybe three oz's....

Well wouldn't ya know it, when all that was trimmed, dried, and cured... we got just over a quarter pound off that ONE plant. THose fluffy piddly lookin buds can be deceiving :p

if your just finishing up week 4 and going too week 5 your only about 28 or so days into bud. there looking real nice man dont stress about density yet.

your plants pack a lot of weight on at the end in that last few weeks. thats when your buds fill in.

I have 4 ladies right now.. one is small but looks like one big bud def think she will be tasty.... another is looking like it will produce ok and there was a snowstorm on it :thumbsup: other 2 are the ones that just look like im gonna get buds with no smell and no thc content as they are so hairy.. I will def keep u updated def appreciate u checking out my page.

no smell and mass hairs do not mean no thc. those hairs will dry up and change color. personaly i like them fuzzy. they might just surprize you.

they arent looking too bad.. I have one that is very small about 2 1/2 feet but all one stink nugget... :stoned: but the others are branched out and I hope you are right about me being surprised... I will update pics here in a few please let me know what u think... we are halfway through week 5 in flowering

she is the one that looks like a bud bunch of hairs and i squeezed a little and she seems a littlehard in the middle I gave it some gravity the other day so we will see how that works out for it :jointsmile:

Hey all.... just noticed on the main cola of one of my ladies it almost looks like it is a hermie and starting to sprout male sacks... but the more I look it almost looks as if it is female hairs coming out.... the last picture is what i am seeing I picked it from the cola... I figured the pics are hard to see but maybe this would help... any advice on it would be really appreciated!

haha I know its hard to tell.... it def looks like a male pollen sack forming... but this late in flower?? Now I am affraid that my ladies are all going to be pregnant :(

Looks like nanners popping out on your main cola. How long until they finish? If its not that long it wont matter. Just pick them off and let her finish.

Takes a few weeks to make seeds.

Yep, Nanners, you can keep picking them out if your close to harvest. Spray her with water first to knock down pollen before trying to pluck em.


Where'd you get the genetics? Seed bank, Bag seed grow, or clone?

Def appreciate all of your comments.... I have been picking them.... I am in week 8 of flowering... so they are finishing up... 2 out of 4 the trichomes are getting nice and cloudy (this is one where the nanners are coming from) good call on the water! Def appreciate little tips like that!

Not sure on the strain it is bagseed.... I do have a few questions on harvest....
I have advanced nutrients Final Phase that I am going to use pretty soon (says use 7-10 days before harvest) to clean all the nutes out... anyone have any experience with this? Also I am thinking of putting them in 36 hrs darkness before I cut.

I have seen some people hang them once cut with the leaves still on... I dont know why, unless it is to get all resin production? I always trim my ladies and then hang. Any ideas on which is better?
