Don't know if this would be remotely correct, but I think I might have stumbled upon a harvest calculation to give a rough guesstimate to your final weight at harvest. Of course everything depends on your strain, etc, this is most likely complete bullshit, but here goes.

Here's the formula:

Approx Dry Weight *per M2 = 0.001 x watts x flower light period x days in flower

So an example would be:

0.001 x 1000watts = 1 x 12 hours of light x 56 days = 672 grams (1.4 lbs) *per M2

Example 2:

0.001 x 100watts = 1 x 12 hours of light x 56 days = 67.2 grams (2 Oz) *per M2

*A square metre is approximately 10.7 ft2

Thoughts?

sounds to complicated. Put all that effort into growing it , and you can average indoor 300-400 grams per square with auto's and 500 grams and up with other breeds. But who cares what they say you should just forget about that focus on them an before you know it . bang you get 3-4 O's per:thumbsup:

that formula is bullshit. it can't possibly work. what if i have a 1000W of CFLs as opposed to a 1000W HPS. yield won't even be remotely close to the same. forumula busted.
