Hey fellow growers!

Just finished my first grow of sixteen females of varying strands, (those curious, at initial weigh in yesterday 740 gm pre dry) yesterday and now that harvest is done had some questions for the more advanced growers out there.

1st) With a pre dry weight in mind is there a way to determine roughly what you will have for finished product?

2nd) I was told to dry hang 2-3 weeks on clotheslines then cure in glass jars another 1_2 weeks, any additional advice here, certainly dont want to fuck up my stash now!

3) is it possible to get viable clones from fully mature females (specifically new growth) or can u only take clones prior to sexing?

4) by adding another light will i see a huge difference in yields, heat in area, and most importantly power usage? (currently using 400wt hps/mh set up with a flood lamp for added light spectrum and heat, room is 4x4 6ft tall and currently runs at a temp of 78F)

5) finally with winter coming is there a night temp i should be staying above for my second attempt?

thanks for the help and advice and happy growing!

PS pics to follow!

Hey fellow growers!

Just finished my first grow of sixteen females of varying strands, (those curious, at initial weigh in yesterday 740 gm pre dry) yesterday and now that harvest is done had some questions for the more advanced growers out there.

1st) With a pre dry weight in mind is there a way to determine roughly what you will have for finished product?Finished/dry weight should be between 70-80% less

2nd) I was told to dry hang 2-3 weeks on clotheslines then cure in glass jars another 1_2 weeks, any additional advice here, certainly dont want to fuck up my stash now!Just initial dry in airy place and once mostly dry place in container to slow down the drying and allow cure. In most environments, this is 2 weeks total, longer is not bad. You are not going to Eff up your stash unless you set it on fire or let it mold

3) is it possible to get viable clones from fully mature females (specifically new growth) or can u only take clones prior to sexing? You can, little late now if you harvested.

4) by adding another light will i see a huge difference in yields, heat in area, and most importantly power usage? (currently using 400wt hps/mh set up with a flood lamp for added light spectrum and heat, room is 4x4 6ft tall and currently runs at a temp of 78F)You bet you will

5) finally with winter coming is there a night temp i should be staying above for my second attempt?Try to keep root temps above 50 degrees

thanks for the help and advice and happy growing!

Any more questions?

thanks for advice, i clipped clones on harvest day, was just curious if they were gonna take, looked kind of sickly the last two days. any idea how much an increase i could expect w/ a second light? heres my dilemma, im limited on space as well as dont want a power bill spike, so trying to figure out best use for light, add it to existing room to create larger yields, or setup another room so i can run both a veg and flower cycle for different plants at the same time creating more on a quicker timetable.
