Been growing for three weeks now and only recently over the past few days the leaves have been drooping or you could say curling down... It looks like the leaves are getting heavy and therefore are beginning to drop. If anyone can help me i would really appreciate it... I have uploaded a picture so if anyone needs to see it first you can see one of the plants in the picture.

I think it could be down to two things 1. the temperature it has been fluctuating and ranging between 26 - 32 degrees Celsius when the lights are on and when the lights are off the temp is between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius... it could also be down to over watering it, which I am pretty confident it is not that because we have been watering it approx 400ml per plant a day it is still in vegetation.

Look forward to hearing from anyone that has any advice or can be of use.

Regards

Just another hippy

I kinda think over watered and nute lockout. The red could be an indicator of lockout or female plant. The almost look nitrogen toxic, except the yellowish one. You might consider repotting to the next size up container. If the roots are thin and stringy, it is over watering for sure. If they are nice and white and fuzzy looking they are healthy and watering has been ok.

I would not be giving nutes at this stage at all, myself. You might also want to get a better way of checking the PH, you sound less than confident in your current method.

Acutally, they look pretty good so far.

EDIT: Regardless, looking back at the photos, those pots are too small, you need to get them into something about twice the size they are in now. At that size in those pots, it should be hard to over water them.

first things first, why are you ammending your all-mix? all-mix comes ready to use. it also already contains the pre-mix. the pre-mix is the only difference between the allmix and the light-mix. the worm castings are totally unnecessary. they are a long-term source of nitrogen.....which you don't need. they are just making your soild retain too much water. you should never need them with the bio bizz. if you do ever decide to use them you would be better off making a tea. the perlite isn't a big deal, but it should be giving you better drainage. use 1/3 perlite to 2/3 parts soil.

by the way, your percenteges, soil (20%), worm castings (10%), perlite (30%) and pre-mix (5%) only add up to 65%. so i ask you what is the other 35% of stuff in your pots? you've got more perlite than soil!?

they definitely look overwatered....and they need to be transplanted!

using the bio grow is fine. it's organic and won't burn your plants. follow the feeding chart.

so do those things and let us know what happens.

WASNT able to transplant to a bigger pot, bt the problem of the leaves droping was due to over watering but now problem has changed and the droping has got better. the problem now is that there are signs of brown/purple pigmentation on the leaves of the violator khush

Why pH so low? 6.0 in and 5.5 out is on the edge of lockout or worse. Have you flushed yet? I'd flush with 6.8 water until the runoff is safe range of 6.5-6.8.

If you are watering everyday you are either; watering too much, or if they really do need water everyday you are overdue for potting up transplanting.

IMHO that is. Please keep up updated,
Doc Oc.

waterd the plants at a ph of 7, and the run off increased and was around 8 is that possible or was the reading incorrect.

It sounds sort of funny, what is "manual tester"? Aquarium fish tank drops? Do you mean one of those probes with the needle that move? Those are tricky because they are "open to interpretation" and take some getting to know. Others call them just plain inaccurate. I don't use them anymore, a digital like the Milwaukee are decent IMHO. Fish tank drops are pretty accurate but water color must me "compensated" for which leads to, again, interpretation. Perhaps others will correct me if I'm wrong please.
Thanks, Doc Oc.

Yep, that little girl wants a new pot!

I've never actually seen root circling like that, kinda cool,... not good, but interesting to see anyway.

Those are what 3-4 liter squares? Double or triple the size and your girls will explode!
