im addicted

ive been on the mj... pretty much all the last few weeks:jointsmile:, so i want to prove to myself that i can take a week holiday... well its my third day so far and to say the least its terrible. I know my body cant get addicted but my mind keeps on telling me i need to take a hit. my friend told me this craving ends in a few days, but so-far i still think about lighting up every 10 seconds or so... :wtf:

any tips so i wont cave? i was told to chew gum, and that works, i also spark my lighter and that helps a little... my guess it this craving will end in a few days

keep your mind occupied...it helps greatly. thats why some people are "addicted" to MJ due to incessant boredom. In other words, its a mere habit to smoke up when one is bored. Good luck on your battle! dont let MJ control you!

the main thing is that you have the self awareness that you are addicted.

your right on blazed deafy, these las two days have been completely empty, but as soon class started this mooning now i have to worry about other stuff.

i wish gypski... lol but ive been smoking so much recently ive been going to all my classes blazed for the last 2 weeks and its hitting my grades hard

it is all a matter of mind control. dont give in to everytime you want to smoke otherwise we would all be zombies. moderation is key. make sure school work comes first and work and whatnot. the feeling will eventually fade with the more stuff you preoccupy yourself with

why dont u just pick a time of day to smoke like in the afternoon after all your school work is done,then puff relax,and stick to it this way it dont mess shit up for you during the day while at aschool..

may i suggest that u get your sh*t together before you ruin the chances of staying in college. Thats why I spent 7 years at college bc of stupid priority, thus failing some classes due to being heavy chimney. the campus is located in the heart of downtown and i usually fire my blunt up right after i get off from MARTA (metro) and cheese da roach prior to entry of the building. I can tell some classmates took a notice of whiff the MJ odor. Those naive times... *reminisce* anyhow sry for the rambling the point being is once pothead and always pothead. it would help to reserve the special time on proper occasion such as passing ur exam, getting As on papers, whatnot. So, take the advantage of the opportunity broadening the scope of life at college, not just being stoner. It opens your mind and your doors to where u wanna go. Ya dig?
