Pre-trim boiling water hit?

Anybody pour boiling water through the roots of your potted plants before you harvest?

Why would one want to do this?

Heard this drives any last nutrients out of the roots and into the plants. An old wive's tail I heard eons ago.

it would PROBABLY just kill the roots and burn you but whatever try it and film it

During harvest the point is to get nutrients OUT of the plant to remove that chemical flavor. Another reason some people do this is "to drive thc from the roots into the buds" which is also bs because their is no thc in the roots. Just another pot fairytale.
