ok.. so i have never used a vaporizer and i dont know anyone near me who has one either. the store near my house sells iolite portable vapes... has anyone used one of these before? are they a decent brand? and is it worth the money? thank you very much..

Yes they are a very good vape. They use butane and take a sec to warm up. The price in your headshop is probably marked up too high. You can purchase brand new iolites on ebay for 150 or less.
Check out a vape thats real cheap called the launch box. That thing is sweet!

These days you have to be careful where you buy your iolite. Warranty is only covered when you buy from an authorized dealer (you'll see the certification code on the site).
The Magic Flight box, OTOH, is a much more simple design, and also has the best warranty you can find. It takes a lot more care (and a learning curve) to use than the iolite, which has a fixed temp, and therefore can't burn your herb. Both are great stealth vapes, with the iolite easier to use but more noisy (a hissing sound when heating/reheating).

I bought the Iolite as a more portable vaporizer. I love it. It works much better than my other one and a little bit of bud lasts a long time. It's worth every penny... Just make sure to use the highest grade butane you can find and not the stuff in hardware stores.
