hello all i've decided for the second time to grow seeing as my last bunch of femmed seeds turned out to be males Idk what happened but i had to move and lighting schedules probably got a lil messed up but oh well decided to try again. I will be growing blue mystic and lemon skunk from seeds and one white widow clone. 3 bm and 1 ls are about a wk old (pics will b up soon cant find cam) i used paper towel method to germ at around 84-86 degrees and they sprouted in a few days and then planted them in mg moisture control soil. they have been under a aerogarden light system for now and seem fine. the other 5 bm and the widow cutting i have going in small grow box with 3 cfls idk how many watts, its also a hydroponic setup i just put them in small grodan cubes a two days ago no soaking or papertowels and all have cracked and a few are above ground and looking ok pics later today or tomorrow. I used no nutrients so far lights are on 24-7 on both.

I have one white widow it's 6 wks old.
I know it's female
i had this plant flowering under 1000w hps bulb i started to see the hairs and even tho i'm a newbie i've read and saw enuff on here to know i'ts a female
but I had to move and the 1000 watt is just way too hot now above 85 degrees. Also this plant was looking really bad it hadnt had water for awhile and the lighting schedule got all outta wack but after alot of water and i put it back on a 18/6 lights for a lil while and well i think shes doin ok.
I just started 12/12 on this plant again I got a few questions tho I know hps would be best but will mh light b ok for this cycle. I have a bunch of seedlings just getting started I have lights set above widow for its 12 hrs and then the rest of the time i have the lights lowered to 20 inches above the others doe's anyone see any problems with what i got going on here lol any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

A mh or hps can be used for a full cycle.
Do you have the widow and the seedlings in the same tent? From what I read it sounds like you do.
Plants need at least 12 hours of complete darkness to flower correctly. Lowering your lights over the seedlings will not make the widow bud. What you can do is take the widow OUT of the tent after 12 hours of light and put it somewhere else thats completely dark. I use a smaller tent for this purpose. The darkness must be COMPLETE and uninterupted.
Also try not to switch back and forth on the lighting schedule. Thats an easy way to make your ladies hermie.

Make sure the dark room has proper ventilation and air circulation. It will be critical when the buds start to get bigger. If you leave it in non moving "old" air without ventilation you wil be just asking for bud rot.

hey bob well i mustve gotten tags mixed up lol mine looks nothing like that
what i thought was lemon turns out is blue mystic
so i'm assuming this other is the lemon especially since i brushed up against it the other day and it had a musky lemony scent
it's pretty weird looking though like it's sick or something it's looked like this from seed and i've topped it twice but it continues to grow
just started it on 12/12 so will c what happens

That looks like the one I've got going. It must be the "scraggly-ass" pheno. :weedpoke:
I know what ya mean about the growing. I've topped it twice, also. This time I bothered to root 'em.
Now there's three....stretchy, ugly, smelly girls. :D
Gotta love the aroma!
Looking forward to the show, ttoy2. Everything is looking good!
I do think that LS could use a transplant soon, if you are flipping her. Has she been in that pot long? She just looks a lil' droopy.

hey cartman
yea the smell is great but like all the rest of my girls i really don't smell nething unless i rub a leaf or stem or wiggle them around
i didn't wanna bother switching to a bigger pot unless it's female which i'm waiting to c still it's a lil droopy cause i haven't watered
where did u get ur seeds from i got mine from
i've germed 9 blue mystic 3 were female, got 2 others n veg and idk what happened to the other 4 they died when just starting seedling stage i got regular seeds
I also have a crystal i've been experimenting with trying to work on some harvesting b4 all this other stuff gets going
idk if ne1 else has this problem but it smells like wet grass or hay, i know it's to early to harvest this plant and i haven't flushed it or nething ( actually i've been looking for flushing techniques)
oh well it's experimental and never did this b4 so thought y not get some practice if i can

Letting the plant ripen completely will reward you in the end. Be patient!

but it's serving a good purpose its allowing me try out the area i was planning on drying in and seeing how that works cn as i've never harvested b4 seems like a good idea to me neways :)
but does ne1 have ne ideas y it's smelling like hay lol
i'm thinking because it was harvested to early i guess
