Now I was a fluent marijuana smoker until about 7 months ago when i moved to Texas from MS. Well My employer has had some allegations that it smells like weed from an one of the employees of our clients (I'm a security guard). Since the allegation they have suspened me without pay. I finally got a chance to defend myself with a drug test and it was urine the results haven't even came back and they are threating me with a blood test. I mean i know this is Texas but come on. If you know anyone whom i can reach out to with help with this please it would be appreciated. I've called the DOL and finally the EEOC wants me to fill out some paperwork.

I really cant help ya much on this other that to tell you that I've lived in South Texas for 29 years and it's been hell on weed as long as I can remember. Their freagin psycho around here...

You really gotta keep all your ducks in a row. A friend of mine got arrested for 1 gram several years ago. He ran his smart ass mouth a lot and ended up w/ two years probation...

pretty sure TX is just like Georgia A "right to work state" they can drug test you or fire you for any reason without recourse

I spent four months in San Angelo a few years back, and when ever I smoked with anyone, it was high security even if it was in a private home. And some people I smoked with doing volunteer archaeology who were staying in a motel it was extra security. In the bathroom with the fan and deodorizer going. They were with UT Austin's archaeological research group. But hey, most anthropologists, or at least the one's I know, all smoke or have smoked. Ain't no big deal with us. :D But Texas LEO and weed...............................
