Leaf tips going brown

Its my first grow and my plants are a couple of weeks old and the leaf tips are going brown and some of the leaves are going yellow, anyone have any suggestions please.

I am growing them in polystyrene cups with good soil and i have given them Miracle Grow once at half the recommended strenghth. I dont yet have a light so they are on the window sill, but they do not appear to be stretching so i dont think this is the problem.

Yes. What I would do, is avoid fertilizing for a few weeks, and during that time, using nothing but water. You already have a buildup of excess nutrients in your medium.

u started fertin after how much days? and how often?

i gave them some miracle grow about 2 weeks after they sprouted at half strength, that the only fert ive given them.

what kind of cups? Is light penetrating the cup and getting to your soil? I would guess tat it is.. this is nt good.. Transplant to larger, light proof container asap...

i hate light as well. LOL dont fert yet. i wait till they are 4-5 weeks old or about 6 inches high. if you use good soil you wont have to fert right away. but dont use soil with fert in it

Its ok the light cant get through the cup, i think i just gave the too much fert, thanks for the help.
