It's been in dirt for about 24 hours and it looks the same as the pic. Its under a 400w MH along with 11 others. They all look fine and standing tall under light. but when the light goes out a few look like they die down a bit. But I'm sure oncne the light comems back on they will perk up. Do you just think this one is just dying or not used to the new environment? they're still in plugs in FFOF soil. Havent used any nutes. They were just dunked in water then put in the dirt. So maybe i'm just paranoid, or is there something wrong with this.

the roots may not be as developed as others...was it in a humidity dome?
my clones are under a humidity dome while rooting and when i transplant i put them in 3x3 peat pots in a 1020 tray under another dome and removeing the dome for about 15-20 minutes a day after transplanting to see if they wilt when exposed to the drier air....usually takes a few days and they are tough enough for the drier air....you may try putting something over it to act like a humidity dome and it should be fine

I find that most of the trouble I have with clones is TO MUCH WATER in the soil, which will drown the little girls. I do not use a regular humidity dome, I just invert quart freezer bags over the individual pots with a little spray of water inside the bag to keep the humidity up.
In this way each plant will 'tell' me when it is time to remove the bags and expose them to the air. when I see signs of growth (roots starting to get a good start) I remove the bags. Usually a week or two into the process.
Also I do not put them under MH or HPS lamps until they really start to grow.
I leave them under cfl's as I have had experiences in the past whereas the harsh light of HPS or MH would actually burn the little babies.
I mix 1/2 regular potting soil with 1/2 seed starting soil ( from wallmart or lowes) as I find that seed starting soil by itself is just too light and will not drain very well.
Just my two cents woth
