Need some Advice Please

Im thinking about becoming a legal caregiver for my Father who does have his Med. Card to consume and grow but is gettings to old to do so , so im thinking of becoming his caretaker.... My main question is , I have a normal job that i plan on staying with untill i retire but would me becoming his caretaker effect me and my workplace? Could i be fired because of this ? Does the Gov. inform my workplace that i am a caretaker and are they alound to give out that info to employers?

This is a good question, as I would like to be a caregiver when my state FINALLY goes medical, but was curious to the ramifications. I have minor ailments that mj helps with, but aren't bad enough to be considered on some lists...just hafta wait and see when the time comes I guess.

Ur in Texas correct? Do you guys even have Medical atm? I thought Texas was a negative... If you do then I think its like California and no they wouldnt let your job know as this is aMedical "suggestion" for the use of Marijuana as for a specific medical reason. Thats how it is here.... for now at least...
