well when the top of my plant broke off all i did was scratch the base and stuck it in dirt. covered it with a 1 gal milk jug with the top cut off. kept soil moist not wet. sprayed it several times a day. it rooted and is thriving.

sometimes ill use a DIY bubble cloner without hormones. All the cutting needs is H20 and a good supply of oxygen to form roots. Hormones just speed the process up.
