Atlanta â?? For many living in a terror-spooked country, it might seem like a great government innovation: Use vans equipped with mobile X-ray units to scan vehicles at major sporting events, or even randomly, for bombs or contraband.

But news that the US is buying custom-made vans packed with something called backscatter X-ray capacity has riled privacy advocates and sparked internet worries about "feds radiating Americans."

"This really trips up the creep factor because it's one of those things that you sort of intrinsically think the government shouldn't be doing," says Vermont-based privacy expert Frederick Lane, author of "American Privacy." "But, legally, the issue is the boundary between the government's legitimate security interest and privacy expectations we enjoy in our cars."

Wire tapping the internet; Mobile X-ray vans; thought all this shit was going to be over with when we had "change". Face it folks, you changed your political gang colors from red to blue but shit hasn't changed a bit.

As for myself, I'm done voting for the bloods or the crypts. Maybe I'll be "wasting my vote" voting for a third party candidate but at least I'll know that I didn't vote for this bunch of bullshit.

Have a good one!:s4:

We progressives helped put him in power and his thanks is a big FU to our ideals such as not spying on us and not using national security threats as a cover to spy on everyone.
I'll still vote Democrat as there isn't any other choice anymore.

If you vote GOP every poor fucker reading this is gonna get taken advantage of even worse.
Why give the keys back to the drunk driver that wrecked the economy when they show no remorse for their actions?

The problem is, that both "parties" are just wings on the same vulture. If anyone is skeptical of this, then just look at the transition from the Bush to Obama administration. Bush started the bailouts of banks and financial institutions "too big to fail," and Obama just continued on the same thread. It seems that policy seamlessly transitioned from two polar opposites on the political spectrum. The only difference between Republicans & Democrats is the means by which they rob you of your hard-earned money & your freedoms.

Tin-foil hats are no longer for the conspiracy-nuts. Good thing I have my tin-foil undies too, no irradiating my jewels!

Terrifing thing when it comes to stability over freedom, times are changing, countries are producing new types of warfare just imagine a portable nuclear weapon. Heck North Korea has had its nuclear power plant for years, and they have been caught selling weapons over seas. We cannot deny that there are people willing to do anything to attack America. As for the red and blue, it all comes down to who will make the best decision for our future. Take for instance the energy issue, republicans want to keep our dependance on oil while the democrats want to consider better types of energy.
