I took four cutting from the plants that are re-vegging and left them a cluster like they were before being cut. Has like 3 and 4 shoots from 1 node. Kinda look like they have been lollipoped.

Never tried to start a clone with this much growth.. We'll see how they do in my homemade cloner. I have a waterfarm bucket for another choice mama.

Just another project I wanted to share with ya'll..

Not letting me upload pics. I'll add them to an album.

All four cuttings have roots now. I'll transplant them this weekend. I have 4 more to that has'nt rooted yet. They should root in about 4 or 5 more days.

I have 9 Shunk #1 seeds that have popped up. We'll see how those do.. They were a gift from a friend. I'll get some pics of them as well as the cuttings.

One out of the second round of 4 have taken root. It won't be long before they are all rooted. That will be 8 Big Buds cuttings and 9 Skunk #1 seedlings. I'm gonna take more cuttings today. They have been taking root after 5-6 days in the cloner I made. Gonna take pictures and try to get them posted. If not they will be in my album on my profile page.

I lost one cutting and have taken more.. Put them in my machine and within 6-9 days,BAM! Roots... I've transplanted most of them.. Still have four more that have roots, but need transplanting. The seedlings are all doing great and have gone to their second set of leaves are growing.:thumbsup:They should be very robust plants! Skunk to me has always been a sought after treat! Gonna take one af my re-vegging Big Buds plants and keep her as a Mama. One of the revegging plants ha about 2,maybe 3 new growth sites.. When they get big enough to cut,I'll take them and get rid of the plant so to make room for all the others waiting to be under the lights! Gonna try and flower this group at about 12-14 inches tall.

Here they are today..I just took these pics. The cuttings are doing great! Some better than most. I've pulled a few up because they never would have caught up with the others. I also pulled 1 of the seedlings up. It just looked CRAZY! I still might pull one of the other cuttings,too.. It should be doing better,by now.. Not.. All of the cuttings are Big Bud as well as the larger plants, that are on their second re-veg.The seedlings are the Skunk. The gifted to me seeds. I gotta give a cutting or 2.

Got some pics of the plants.. I took 8 more cuttings. 3 out of the 4 that I cut for my lil' clone project seem to have done what I set out for them to do. I wanted more branching from the start without having to top.

Check out the shoots on the Pork Rind,lol.. This is on all of the larger Big Bud plants.

Here are the cuttings from my project. I transplanted them 3 days ago. They have taken off! The plants that are larger in the background were the mothers. I'll flip the switch on them in about a week. They have gotten a little larger than I had wanted. Just because of the space issue. Right now.. Everthing is working out as planned. As we all know! Things don't normally run without some type of problems.

I have found that through the years of taking cuttings. If you don't use a long light schedule, like 24 hours on. They have a tendency to take a little longer to root and longer time to transpire and wilt, eventually the will die. I've been using whatever light schedule they were on before they were cut. In my case lights are 16/8. In five to 6 days they have so many roots that the risk of transplant shock is greatly decreased. Healthier cuttings make for healthy clones. Just observations I have made through trial and error. Things like this will help others grow happy, hardy clones.:jointsmile:

Here are some pics of the plants that I re-vegged.I call them suspended animation plants. Kinda stay at the same age. You do keep them at the same age as long as you re-veg them. The cuttings are the next generation.Which would be older the day you cut them. Here they are afer 2 days into flowering.

Hey Ga...

I've read about growers putting a mixture of rooting/clone gel & KY jelly on the branches/stem; a few days before cutting. They showed pics of root bumps appearing on the branches/stems in a few days. It seems?...to speed everything up?

I don't do clones...but, I was wondering...:D...(an old friend of ours is doing this)

GaGrown

That would'nt help me the way I clone. It would be washed off and have never used KLN rooting solution with a gel. However that would be a GREAT way for one to succeed if they had never taken cuttings before. I think you would have to put the gel on the exact cutting zone. Then they would have to be put into a starter plug or a rockwool cube or jiffy pellet. I'm sure it would work very well. I will be trying this method, too! Thank's Pimp!

Is that at the top of a node or just put on a stem at random? I would think for the one that you intend to cut would be at a node for the simple reason that is where most rooting action happens. You can bet your ass that this will be tried and documented!

I see the knots on the stem.. When I take a cutting I kinda strip off the coating of the stem to speed up the rooting process. I'm gonna try this with the Skunk #1. I know what the Big Bud will do with this lil' trick. It is just so easy to deal with! Peace to ya! My Brutha!:thumbsup:

Here they are at 28 days.. I forgot where the camera card was and found it in the laptop. It was there all the time and I blamed my gurl..:stoned: is what I was when I put there.

I'll take some pics tonight. They look way better now! I even transplanted a couple. I have two more to do. I bought some pots for .25 cent each at a nursurey. Kinda wondering how they will do? Being it was done in flower.5 plants are smaller and are further behind than the others.Goin' for the perpetual crop. So far so good!:jointsmile::D
