hiya people,
i have been in bedroom with my tent so far but my attic is massive, i want to partition off 2 rooms in there so i get my smoke on a monthly basis,
i will board of floors, put a drop down ladder for easier access, etc,

1. now for insulation do i need cellotex or is normal rolled thermal insulation alright to use on roof (like whats on the floor of attic)? (parranoid about flir detection)

2. i have it going out of chimney in bedroom wall, can i still do that in the attic?

3. and for water do i just put like a hose on bathroom tap and fill up like a 100litre water butt?

anything i forgot please let mr now, thanx.:)

Lol you forgot the k in know
But on a serious note, will the insulation be sealed between two walls?
I'm not going to touch on flir(someone jump in here?)
Do you have a way to test and possibly change the ph of your water?
And I hope your grow works out for you :hippy:

Well, have you ever been in your attic in the summer time when its hot outside? Have you ever been in there in January? If its anything like mine, its about 140F+ in the summer up there, and frigid cold in the winter time.
To sum it up, the attic is a very poor place to put a grow room where you are trying to keep temperatures moderate. Unless you have heating and a/c up there I think its a waste of time and effort. You would be alright if you only used it in the spring and the autumn, but winter and summer is very difficult.

If you want to grow year round up there, I say forget it.

Lol if MasterG is talking about it now, it's probably gonna be a fall/winter grow:D
I dont see much of a problem with that if it's in a nicely insulated attic
But I may still be missing something so more opinions would be nice :hippy:

Oops, sorry for disregarding your post in my last one :o
I dont know about growing next to insulation like that, some may drift down and hit your plant, but again not my area of expertice :D
On the subject of the tent, a good tent will hold in heat, so it should help to keep the plant(s) warm, but remember, if you run a heater or something similar in your house, that heat rises, and now your attic will hold heat because it's insulated
