When to flower?

Ok i have a 4 foot tall x 4 foot long x 4 foot wide grow box and im going to be growing 3 plants most likely Sour Kush (Headband) Indica dominant and want to know when to switch to 12/12?

Well, you have a height of 4 ft. That is important to remember. Now, you didn't say what kind of light you will be using is flowering, as that light will probably hanging from the 4' ceiling. Then you will want the plants to be a certain distance from that light. In this case, let just assume the light takes 6 inches of ceiling height, and you want the top of the plant to be no closer than 6". So now you you know you have only 3 ft for your plants.
So when a plant first goes into flowering, it will grow 2 to 3 times its size by the time it expires. So I think (in this case) I would start the flowering process when the girls reach about a foot.

Its a 250 watt HPS light how much do you think i will yeild per plant? im aiming average 1 oz a plant maybe more

250w HPS isn't enough light to properly illuminate a 4x4 foot print. But given your ceiling space you have to flower small plants, so you can crowd them together into the smaller area that will be enough light for them.

+1 on when they hit about a foot tall if your going to try and do all 3 at once.

If it were me given the tent and light, I'd do a single plant in a SCROG. The light should do about 2.5x2.5' Screen nicely, and something like that should yield 2-3oz finished.

The floor is 4x2 (mistyped in first comment) which is 8 square foot and 25,000 lumens is pretty good its supposed to be round 2000-5000 lumens per square foot so i think its enough

So flower at around 12 inches tall? im doing the uncle bens topping teqnique when it hits 5-6 nodes how tall will the plant be when its 6 nodes high and once ive topped how long untill i can flower?

I don't think I've ever counted the number of nodes on a 12" clone. When it get to the size, just throw them in!:)
