my ghetto setup and my 5 week old plant ..lemme know some opinions

From seed I assume? Looking healthy. My setup was put together on a very tight budget too. I might suggest more lights as you get further along. I bought 2 a week until I had what I needed. Currently @ 512w actual CFL on 4 plants and they seem to be doing fine. Move your lights closer too. You need to be as close as possible(2" or less is what I aim for.) because the light from the CFL's dissipates so quickly. Subscribed!:thumbsup:

Budlover is right about the CFLs. From the distance you have them now they arent doing very much for you other than adding heat.

What kind of soil is that?

ok well i just made a adjustment .. as u can tell ive layed the lamps right on the brim of the bucket ..the bulbs r 3 inches from the tip of the leaves all the way around ..it wont let me post this pic but heres the link to the pic
