hiya
i need help with this issue, i have a big tent with 6 6oowatt lights, 200carbon filter and acoustic ducting with acoutic extractor fan extracting into chimney.
tent draws in natural air from outside tent through tent flaps at the bottom.
my temps are around 28-33c with lights on.

i have just bought a portable air conditioning unit to keep temps at saya steady 25-27c, but im not sure what to do with the hot air that comes out th AC unit?

i have attatched a birds eye diagram i made in paint for you to get a rough idea of what im working with.
all help appreciated
thanx:)

you need to have a window to expell the hot air from the portable...or at least someway to get that hot air totally out of the room the tent is in...if that is not possible then the portable will not work.a mini split ac system will be more inline with what you need

yea i tried linkin the 150 ducting from the tent to the room its in, cooled it slightly by about 3c, but within 30minutes it started to stink the house,

so ive descided just to use it as a second fan in the tent, but ive got another extraction fan, well 2 actually a 150 and a 200, my question is if i use 1 of these on a y ducting piece will that take care of temps?

thanx

Hey there masterg,

You have 3,600 watts of light there, that's just over 20,000 BTU you need to deal with. I wish you luck with that. :D

get a 30k BTU A/C and you should be able to handle it.
