I don't think its any kind of question w/n to legalize and tax cannabis. We have patients that either can't get their card fast enough or have a card and can't get the medicine that they need. Also our state economically is among the worst in the country, tax revenue from the legal sale of cannabis would be huge. Stating that is mostly hearsay though, anyone who has an opinion about an estimated sale amount per year would be downplayed as not an "authority". We're in a vicious cycle here in Rhode Island as well as the rest of the country and we need to break out of the tradition of hating and fearing cannabis.

For the better of people I support legalization and taxation if thats what it takes to stop putting people in prison and on probation for marijuana. I know that financially, businesses and other private entities may want to stop it but the Medicine we all use should be as easily accessible to adults who make the intelligent choice. No individual smoker, grower or person is better than another, so why put roadblocks in front of the suffering and sick?:jointsmile::thumbsup:
