even though the awareness of pot is cracking down and people are getting ready to legalize; other cities are cracking down and busting people.

She had pot and a pipe in the glove box of her car where she had her registration.
Bad Place For Buds.
She got off because the police opened the compartment without her permission. In another situation, had she opened it and they saw, she would be busted.

There seems to be a "last grasp" they are doing before it goes legal, getting in all the arrests they can, while they can!

Too funny, last time I was here was when this thread was created and I was harvesting in Illinois. The hell with them, I grow 4 here and 4 there and 4 everywhere to keep it to a misdemeanor if I'm caught. Besides, we all know the whole "eradication" efforts were simply started by the pharmacuetical companies to eradicate their competition. I've even spoken to a few local cops here in my town. They know pot is harmless and the system is a joke as well, they only arrest people b/c they don't want to lose their jobs or miss out on a promotion.

Sorry officer johnson, we cant promote you because you have not arrested enough pot-smokers. I doubt this has ever happened.
I belive there is a "memo" out to not give smokers any slack, but thats just my opinon.
Opinon aside, with any interaction, approach dictates response. Cops will arrest an innocent asshole before they arrest a guilty pleasant person any day of the week.
