How many plants?

How many plants can i fit in a 4 foot tall x 4 foot long x 2 foot wide grow box i was thinking of buying some Sour Kush aka Headband seeds from attitude seed bank and you get 6 feminised seeds plus 2 autoflowering seeds i dont think i would be able to fit 8 plants but mabye 4-5?

Also i'm using 2 actual watt 150w cfls if you was wondering and i'm going to be doing the uncle bens topping on my plants which if you dont already know make the plant grow 4 tops instead of the usual one will this change how many plants i can fit in my box

If you are going to flower in the grow box, keep in mind that kush can get to three feet plus easily in flower. I use cfl's for my grows, but the one problem I have had was getting light to the bottom branches and curbing the stretch. With daily adjustments they work fine, but it requires a good bit of adjusting vs getting a decent light that can give you all the light you need from 4 feet away.I just happen to be broke. Keep the cfl's close during veg, I'm talking no more than 2-3 inches away, but don't let them touch becuase they will burn your plant up.

Have you looked into lst? I am doing lst on a diesel right now for the first time. Rather easy to do and the results are great, and in a 10 inch plus pot will get you more than 4 colas. Another suggetion would to do a scrog grow. That way you can grow out two plants or so in that box and you can control the upward growth by arranging the branches on the screen giving you more colas to work with.

I know you are getting a ton of seeds but only germinate a couple at first. I learned the hard way that if you germinate all of your seeds you end up with more plants than you really need and it turns out to be a waste. Conserve your seeds, light, and nutes and flower off a clone of each plant before comitting the entire plant to flower. This way if your plant is female you have a flowering clone that will provide you with medicine and you can get a few more clones rooting during that time. Doing this will keep your plant for mother status and saves the seeds in case momma dies out.

If worse comes to worse I read where someone used fishing hooks and weights to weigh down the main stem. I am not a fan of cutting the plant and putting her into shock but whatever works for you run with it. Just give it a stab and log what you did so you know what works and what doesn't work for the next grow.
