I have a homemade aeroponic cloner that I got the directions for out of high times I run r/o water with a diluted mix of thrive alive b1 and clonex, I have a 520gph pump and have the water going 24/7 my concern is the first time I had 100 percent success and every time after I have had issues I have thought that maybe it was heat but i am not having any issues with anything else it seems like the stem just rots away on some while others thrive... any Ideas?????

Well pufthamagiqpurp,

I hope your are starting fresh each time you run cuttings AND sanitizing the clonner between runs. Once you start to get stem rot you really have to either use bleach or hydrogen peroxide to clean the thing out.

Maybe someone else will chime in with a better idea. Good luck with the problem.

Check the temperature of your water. It should not exceed 80F. From where I see it, a 520 gph water pump does not go into a cloner, it's simply to big and will probably be the reason your water temps are too high.
I know, next you are going to say what size of pump do I need? I really can't give you an accurate size, because I don't know how big your cloner is, or how many nozzles or what size reservoir you have. My guess is you need about a 150-200 gph.
With a 520 gph pump you are cooking the water!
