im talking about as far as some that are more secure and seal proof? ive came across a set of Ball 32oz wide mouth jars at ace hardware they got the rubber 2-piece lids would you say these would be a good buy? 12 bucks for a set of 6
or i was thinking of just getting a random brand name at a store like Big Lots at a cheaper price....does the brand really matter or should either one do?
^ I would say yeah, there probably all the same but others may be know better. I think some people just say Mason Jar meaning any jar kinda like saying I'll have a Coke, what kind? Dr. Pepper.

Nobody thought it important to mention "wide mouth lids", not the small lids?
Get the wide mouth lids with whatever jar you like so you don't mangle the buds during removal- if curing in jars. I could only add to use big jars for big amounts and small jars for small amounts.

True but thats pretty much what most places have in stock anyways.

I agree Ball is the top of the line for a tight seal. Which reminds me of a walrus joke, But anyway. For curing I like the octagon kitchen jars that you can get online for under twenty bucks from miles kimble. Just search cobalt and you will find them.

Thx for link and replies fellas, ive found some at Ace Hardware w/ free shipping so im probably going to grab a pack off there. Thing is how big should I get them. If one is to store about a 1/2 to full oz, what would guys recommend the 16oz or 32oz??
Ball 16oz 12pk (im digging the extra wide mouth leaning toward this one)

No question, get a case of the 32oz jars, they are cheap. Fill them about half to a third full, tumble them, and burb them once or twice a day while curing.
BTW, I just checked miles kimble site and they do not have the jars I was talking about in stock. Sorry for the bad info.

That is some like totally bogus advise there dude. Saying "like that's pretty much what most places have in stock anysways" is a far cry from saying "wide mouth lid" instead of small lid.
True but thats pretty much what most places have in stock anyways.
For reals? Likes no ways brah. In walmart or supermarkets they like totally have many of both kinds (and then some) so we shouldn't assumes and waste peeps time and money.
I'm sure you would agrees?

I thought for storing and curing/freshness its best to open the jar only at least once a week? Maybe im wrong
