hermies???

I had got some clones from a friend, I was told the strain was killer (hazextrain) well to cut to the chase, all of the clippings i got went hermie. I was thinking that since all of the clippings of this strain went hermie, it was cloned off a mother that was a hermie. Is there any other way all this strain would be hermies and all the other plants i had in same spot were fine, well besides an few beans here and there, will these beans be hermies as well?
