Wondering if anyone could give me some advice regarding electricity usage please.
Me and the Mrs were going through a rough time with money and got behind on the electric bill by about £1092..
We are going to pay £800 due this weekend and over the phone they were more than happy to take less.
My ideal grow would be 10 plants under two 600w HPS to concentrate on maximum yield.
However...
I`ve been reading alot about electricity company`s looking out for unusual spikes in the readings and because of the past £1092 not being paid, will this house be flagged? Even when i pay the full 1092? because surely they will notice a pattern of 18/6 and 12/12.
If so...
I was thinking about 5 plants under one 600w HPS and using my other HPS to radomly turn on/off now and then for "x" amount of time to cover up that pattern?
Im asking this as in the uk there has been around 7000farms shut down in the past year and thats alot for a small country.
I know the rule of thumb is 1000w per room but i could get around that with an extension lead from another room.
Any ideas?
