growing purple kush in promix. using floranova bloom for nutes. Ok am currently at day 29 of flowering on my first grow. I water every other time with straight water. Wednesday was straight water thursday night I noticed the plant directly under my light looked yellowish green top to bottom. Today I noticed 3 more are doing the same. I am still new to this and havent a clue what is causing this. Thought maybe the lights too close so I raised it up some. But it was like 18" from the tops and is a sealed hood and doesnt seem to be all that warm above the plants. Temp is mid seventies in the room. Is it possible that I flushed all the nutes out and the plant is suffering after two days? I dont want to hit it with more and end up burning them up. I also dont want to flush them unless needed and end up rotting the roots. Its not the common bottom fan leaves dying out but all the leaves turning yellow and some falling off. Sorry I dont have pics maybe I can borrow a cam and take a few tomorrow. Dont know what else to include to help diagnose. Thank you for any help I am getting worried.

Fill out the trouble shooting form.
Without any more info, my first thought is root bound. Might be nute overload. Might be root rot? Might be spider mites. Might be normal for the plant. It is all guessing without the form and maybe a few decent pictures.

11) Method of checking water ph. aquarium kit
12) Method of adjusting water ph. (phosphoric acid, white vinegar, hydrated lime, PH Up...)
13) Specific brand and N-P-K ratio for each bottle. List dosages (quantity per gallon) and current
feeding schedule. floranova grow and floranova bloom 1/4 teaspoon to roughly each gallon ec meter
says between 1.4 to 1.6 I add water till I get this reading when mixed
14) How often are you watering between feedings, and how much per watering? straight water every
other feeding about 1 1/2 - 2 gallons roughly one a week

thrive to 20 gallons of water 10ml per gallon of botanicare sweet also running c02 at 5psi for 15
minutes every three hours lights are on
16) Are your ph levels stable, or do they fluctuate?

Here a question that may clear something up for me. Now I was told by the person who gave me the clones to have the ecm at 1.5. Is this suppose to be with all my nutes in such as the sweet or reading taken with just the ferts? Maybe I am under nute or over? Does 1.4-1.6 sound ok. Also It takes about a week for the bags to feel light then I water till there is run off is this ok or should I water lighter more often? Thank you all so much for your help. The person the clones came from I cant get a hold of to ask any questions.

not the best photos but I did my best with a borrowed camera. Should be able to see what I am talking about anyway. Its like the part that gets the most light has yellowed and the somewhat shaded parts are still green. Its like the light is bleaching it out weird idk how else to explain it. All the plants get same nutes and only a few look this bad but all have some yellow and they all seem to lose a few leaves a day. Still leaning toward under nute or lights too close even though its got plenty of room and doesnt seem hot with my hand a foot above tops.

ok overnight the light green leaves on the worst looking plant now have streaks of purple toward the base on the tops. Idk a whole lot about the purple kush but at day 40 isnt it too soon for it to turn purple? still thinking its a nute deficit any ideas. Dont have camera to take a pic today.

Running on a non visual.
Plants 40 days into flower should start loosing shade leaves about now. They should start from the bottom and work their way up. Some plants do this. others don't. Just take them off when they curl.
Three gal bags may be root bound by now. Too late to fix. Color shows in different strains at different times. Nothing to do now. Full speed ahead.

Interesting....If I were to go with just the pictures, I would say it is getting too cold at nite for the plants, but your temps say no. How about Cal/Mg or some unsulphered molasses?
I had an Acorn that did that every single grow. As stated before it could be just the species, which I am not familiar with. I do not think it is anything to really worry about, those are healthy leaves. I would let the grow finish without any more nutes.
Are you sure the pot temps are not dropping below 50F at night?

You've given too much superthrive. No more of that. Give more nitrogen to a pale green plant. More of the grow fert.

cutting the superthrive. Going to check and keep a eye on bag temps that may be a cause it is a cement floor. I did get a sample of some cal/mag stuff in the mail yesterday. I talked the the guy at the local grow shop and he said sounded like nitrogen or mag. But i didnt have any pics to show him. But he said to bring him a couple leaves and pics tomorrow and he would have a better idea. But yeah I would lean toward it being nitrogen. Guy at the store said it was unlikely over nute. It turned from good to all yellow two days after straight water. I probably washed a lot of nutes out. I will keep you all updated thanks again:)
