what should I do?

this is my first grow. i have it in a pc case. i vegged 4 plants and ended up with 1 female. it is from bagseed and i am using miricle grow (yes i know) and not really using any ph shit and just tap water occasionally rain.

like a moron i zip tied the stem of the main cola to a metal rack in attempts to make it grow bigger (shoulda done this in veg state)

anyways it rotted the fuck outta the stem.

every day the hairs get more brown. im afraid its time to cut her but im not really sure. this was simply for fun so dont bother telling me about ph and nuts and all this and that. that will come next time. i just wanna know if i keep it going will it lose its potency and should i chop her down now and start fresh. thanks :)

i would guess she is just around a month into flowering. and does keep getting bigger everyday but i dont wanna sacrafice all the time to end up smoking shwagg. (obviously its still bag seed but i had it goin good for a while)

here are some pics from veg to flower, she was looking good for a while, i think the miricle grow bloom shit fucked her up.( i know i know dont use miricle grow) only leaves on cola are dried out and some got burn spots, however other parts of the plant look good. i think i did good for my first time.

she is filling out more and more everyday which kills me, but id rather quit while im ahead instead of possibly growing terrible bud (prolly will be anyways)

I would not cut it down. I have snapped stems bigger than what you have and they survive just fine.

Take some heavy tape, such as duct tape or better yet aluminum tape if you have it, and wrap a piece around where the break is/was in such a way that it will support the weight of the cola, and let nature take its course, it will hardly affect anything as far as life is concerned. It will form a knot around its injury and just make it stronger.

Once 1/2 to 3/4 of the pistils have changed to the darker color u should be good to harvest, if u wait to long the THC will degrade into CBN and CBD which will give u less of a less of a high and a more stoned/lethargic feeling. At this point u should also be feeding her plain water after u flush the soil. That way she uses up all her stored starches and sugars which will give u a smoother smoke.

awesome. thanks for the tips. i took a piece of trailer tape (aluminum) and wrapped it around that spot, it seems like the weight of the cola was def. stressing that causing it to rott and i almost broke it off when i took the plant out. i took a piece of string and its and looped it around the branch and tied the other end to the shelf i have at the top of the case. i should have never taken out the lower shelf i was using for lst. o well.


i also mixed some hydrogen peroxide with some water and sprayed the soil around the stem very lightly. maybe a few times of that will help her grow strong.

the buds are bigger than yesterday so why kill it!! thanks guys!
