So i want to find a strain that suites me and my growing conditions so i'll start by telling you what i'm going to be using for the grow.

3 foot tall x 2 foot wide x 2 foot deep growbox
2 150w CFL's not equivalent actual wattage 1 2700k other 6500k
And i'm going to be using soil

Now i'm going to describe my perfect strain

Something potent deffinately an indica dominent strain aiming for that couchlock effect.
Something high yeilding
Flavourful

I was thinking about an autoflowering strain due to my grow box size what are your thoughts on these and if you can tell me which auto will give me some potent high yeilding plants and staying at around 2 feet tall

Thanks

here again. i posted in your other thread so ill post here too.

from the height of that box id say you are best off doing a pure indica or a few autoflowers. you gotta remember the height of your pot goes into the equation.
so autoflowers recommended ... pure indica or even ...

a nicely done indica x sativa either lst'ed or somehow perfectly scrog'd.

id try and add a foot to the height of the box but if not... i think you have the right ideas so far.

as far as perfect strain or yield i couldn't tell ya.. you have to go buy seed description and application of whatever skills ya have. i'd hate to limit myself to that much head room but I see people do it all the time so here's some luck to ya!

Well i'm upgrading my box size to 3.5 foot high x 3 foot long x 2 foot wide i was thinking something like white rhino for a heavy hitting couchlock or maybe northernlights, how many plants do you think i can fit in this box i was aiming for 3?

Depends, I'm guessing you are growing from seed? So however many 5 gal pots you can fit, that's how many plants. Then you can flower when maybe about half the area is filled. This is a very general answer, many variables are involved, mostly in the stretch from the strains. Some will double in size in flowering, some 4-5x (sativa doms)... so it's kind of a learn as you go deal :D

Definitely look into LST or Scrog. With Scrog, you can grow any strain you want in that space. There is a lot of info around here about it. Get a good general idea about it and put it to practice

:rasta: try googling different seeds im not sure ive ever seen anything that short but i grow in three gallon and that takes half of what youve got maybe try listing them a good bud is almost what you have total

How tall are 5 gallon pots because im aiming for the plants to be around 2 foot high and 1 foot wide so in my space they should do well, deffinately going for an indica keep it short and compact :D

5 gallon are probably going to be too big for this setup. I would consider 3 gallon and LST, maybe in that spiral form (train the main stem around the circumference of the pot, sort of looks like this: @ from the top down) that some people do.
You may also want to check out the 12/12 from seed thread, some people are getting really productive with the right strains and methods using small areas.

a normal paint can is 1 gal. the large plastic ones are 5 gal. might be to big for you, also they are all dif shapes and what not so the is no real answer to "how tall is a 5gal pot". google it. good luck

here is a 5 gal paint bucket that is light proof. to big IMO

P.S. get something that has NO light penitration. translucent pots are not good. light to roots ia a no-no
