I went out to tend to the girls and found this. I removed them but one looked open.

Yup that's a classic example of a good female plant gone hermaphrodite. Its causes can range from genetic problems to irregular lighting. If you have any more plants around it, cut that freak down because it'll ruin your whole crop.
