I've ordered seeds from the UK several times, most recently from Atitude.
I purchase Visa gift card with cash and use the name of an old roommate to delivered address. Last week I went to place another order amd this time the debit card would not be accepted.
I had registered the card. Per Attitude web page I called and had them activate it for international sales....and was told by the customer service rep that this was no longer possible {even though the packaging of the card stated "good for international sales/electronic sales" ect. } He said the regulations had just changed a week or two ago and that the store where I had purchased the card was suppose to have pulled them all from the shelves.
Anyone else heard of new regs that changed to not allow gift card purchase internationally?
I'm wondering if it is just Visa and if I should try an AMEX or something....although by this time/ with delay I might as well just send a money order.
