When do you start LST

I've grown outdoors and used LST to keep plants low profile. Indoors it's to try and get maximum yeild from each plant under 400 Watt HPS.

Outdoors I might tie it down after it broke higher than the natural hide-behind stuff. Maybe 2-3 feet.

Indoors I start at 12-18". I see other folks with lower than 400W light may start LST shorter. What are other ideas?

As soon as your plant will allow it. Height varies, but you want to start when she's big enough to bend 90 degrees without suffering too much trauma. I'm by no means an expert, I started lst on this, my first grow, because I was running out of room. I didn't start mine until the 3rd week of veg from a clone and they are still 3 ft tall. Lots of buds though!

as soon as you need to. Plants are amazing and will take a ton of LST, suppercropping, topping.
