I thought the answer was no. I keep hearing otherwise. I don't see anything new in the regs that would allow this. Did I misread the regs or did something change while I was out playing in the dirt?

might have to be separate grows. but why not? I assume your commercial grow is at commercial space, and perhaps you would grow for 5 at home? I don't think I'd do it at the same place, b/c you are working off your license there, which is governed by 1284.

I don't recall anything that forbids it, but not anything that allows it either. It's one of those gray areas I guess. May be considered a conflict of interest with the MMC as those patients could of just assigned caregivership to the MMC instead of the grower.
Would definitely do as recommended and keep separate grows. Everything grown for the MMC is supposed to be "tracked". If things come up short because you're providing for your patients, might lead to a sticky situation as the auditors might think stuff is going out the back door or something.

I would agree that the grows would have to be in separate locations. The grower is an employee of the MMC. The MMC technically operates the grow. But, I don't think that there is any reason that an MMC employee couldn't have a patient grow in another location.
Pretty sure that there is no way it could be within the MMC grow.

Thanks for the replies. The commercial grow and the caregiver grow would be at two different sites. I just don't think I have enough energy to really do a super good job at both. The commercial grow is large and I'm obligated to the center. That's a huge amount of work. I have patients who can't afford a center. I grew for them for free and was able to pay for it by selling my overage to dispensaries, back when there were dispensaries. Now that summer is over and I'm going to have to grow under lights again, I could probably barely afford the utility bill for a small caregiver grow, but even a small grow needs to be done right and it's expensive and time consuming. I really wish I would wake up and 1284 would just be a nightmare I had.

At least you're growing for a center, could be worse. Hopefully you're getting compensated well.
