Okay, I think we all have that movie that really brings a tear to our eye, but there are some movies that are just plain bizarre to cry to. What is yours?

(My weirdest is the cartoon movie: A goofy movie. When Max saves his father with the "Perfect Cast" it brings a tear to my eye for some reason)

I'm a sucker for any sad movie as long as they don't go overboard with it.

Field of Dreams chokes me up every time. First when Doc Graham has to come off the field to save Ray's daughter and then can't go back. Then when Ray calls out "Hey, dad . . . you wanna have a catch?"

I'm embarrassed to say that I get choked up VERY EASY in the most stupid movies possible. I get it from my mother. That's not even counting some TV shows out there. Like for instance I love the show House MD, and I sit and sob like a little (CENSORED) when something happens in it. My wife will come in and see me just sitting there trying not to sob, and she'll just shake her head and walk off. Well, I think I've embarrassed myself enough for now. BTW: I'm glad to see you again Blazer. Out of all the people on this site I think I have to say I missed you the most in the time I was banned.

Peter Pan.

The newer one where he's laying on the deck about to die and starts glowing...

Gets me every time.

Wow. Thanks. :D

Yeah, I get teary eyed over the dumbest movies. Once, my wife caught me almost ready to bawl over a Shirley Temple movie of all things. Guess we're more sensitive?

The flip side is that if the director goes for the tears too aggressively, it has the opposite effect on me. I went to see The Other Side of the Mountain with a chick I was trying to bang when I was in college. It was a sad movie and I was getting torn up until the end when they pan over each and every remaining cast member to show them crying their eyes out. I started laughing. Of course the chick who was into her second box of tissues was pissed. Never got banged and so watching that wretched movie was a total waste of time. :(

Thankfully, I've never been in that boat before. If I know a movie is sad I will try to avoid it (especially if it was back in my dating days) b/c I sure don't wanna look like a puss to someone I barely know LOLz! As far as the new Peter Pan I've not seen it, but all at the same time I was never a Peter Pan fan (wow that rhymed). I just think it's a little weird a grown up man hanging out with a bunch of kids. That's a little pedo if you ask me. Well, I'm off to smoke a quick bowl and then off to work. I'll see everyone later this evening.. :stoned:
