Authorities seized more than $200,000 worth of marijuana plants from a home in northeast Vancouver Tuesday morning.
Deputies responded to a home in the 13900 block of Northeast 89th Circle about 3:30 a.m. on reports of a disturbance between two people and discovered that part of the home had been converted into a marijunana growing operation.
Members of a Clark-Skamania county interagency drug task force returned about 10 a.m. with a search warrant and confiscated about 140 plants. The pot has an estimated street value of $210,000, said Sgt. Scott Schanaker, a Clark County Sheriff's Office spokesman.
John C. Melick, 47, was arrested at the home on accusations of manufacturing marijuana and booked into the Clark County Jail.
He should have known better than to tangle with his woman, she's no push over.
