Whats up guys. I noticed that I basically didn't really get that blazed anymore when smoking.. pretty much did it every day or every other day.. for quite a few months (damn it sounds bad when I put it that way.. lol) but basically it's been two weeks without tokin down in just a few days and I was wondering if you guys think that would make quite a large difference for the next time I smoke again.
I've been drinking lots of water and work out pretty often.. so yea, just seeing what you guys thought about it. I'm hoping to get pretty damn baked again once I toke up here soon.. I'm thinking I should probably get some reaaallllyyy fire stuff to celebrate this great occasion lol.

Tell ya what...I'm a several-times-a-day smoker. I have taken 2 DAYS off and had to shower sitting down I was so blazed. But that's just me--I may be a cheap date. I'm not new to smoking though--been doing it for 15 years or so. I bet it's different for everyone, but I'd say two weeks would surely make a difference.
If ya got it, burn it. :hippy:
i would say yes. i've just come off a one month sabbatical, myself and it has been well worth the wait. :stoned: :stoned: :rastasmoke:

If a two week break doesn't get you blazed at a whole other level than what your tolerance is used to at the moment than something is wrong with you, lol.
I usually smoke at least once a day depending on what's going on. I only use a one hitter and don't smoke a lot at once but I still get baked. A one week break for me is plenty to get really stoned and appreciate being high again.
I took almost a month break before and than took two hits of some really good dank. OH WOW. You forget how strong cannabis really is. It felt like a class A drug ;) lol. I was starting to get dejavue and was getting some mild closed eye visuals. It was awesome but almost too much.
EDIT: To what I think the answer you're looking for, YES YES YES taking a break is worth it. Especially two weeks. You'll feel like you can breath again. It feels great and your serotonin levels settle so you feel like yourself again.

Yeah once I get my hands on some I'm totally gonna smoke down lol. I've always just used a bowl for myself.. but do you guys think it would be a good idea to just go ahead and get a $40 bong. It's hard to hide it for me but I think I'll manage... do you guys think smoking for the 1st time in two weeks with a bong would make a much larger effect than a bowl would?

Yes. My theory is that it's all about the amount that's in you at once. So you could smoke a bowl with lets say .5 of a gram in there and you'd take hits here and there then it'd be finished. Now lets say you even only use around .3 of a gram in a bong. You take one big hit and you get to another level of high because of the amount in you at once.
if you want to use a bong be my guest but I'd recommend a mellow size hit. Or just smoking a 1-3 hits off a one hitter. If you rarely take breaks and take a huge bong hit you might get very paranoid and have a shnity peak.

I have no tolerance, never have. My regularity varies--sometimes I smoke everyday, sometimes every week or two, but even in one stretch where I was smoking a few times a day for a couple of weeks, I'd still get MADLY baked after a couple of hits each time. I'm a damn miracle of nature.

yea I'm not to worried about taking too big of a hit though because the whole reason I'm taking a break is so I can get fucked up again... lol. The whole paranoia thing is simply mind over matter... I'm only gonna smoke down when I know everythings chill around me and theres nothing I need to worry about. Thanks for the input guys.

lol I just realized that it will be even better if I push forward and stop for a while.. after the first few days it was easy lol. It just sucks when you smoke down a bowl of FIRE bud and even load it up with kief... and you STILL don't get blazed.. somethings not right lol.
I wonder why some people keep getting just as blazed and others dont? I mean you would think that the brain receptors or w/e would be the same for everyone... but apparently not. Once I smoked that bowl of fire bud with kief and I barely felt blazed I knew it was time for a break lol.

Thats so true.....just like you I'm about a two tokes a day kinda guy and have been for about 12 years now.......I didn't smoke for 3 days on a recent family trip and then got so stoned when I got home I lost my truck in the grocery store parking lot for about an hour??????????? Seriously....its not the mall....the lot wasnt gigantic....unbelievable.
It doesnt take long to dramatically drop your tolerance......ALSO.....i'd like to note that during those three days when I couldnt smoke....i didnt suffer any horrible withdrawls or lose my mind craving getting high. Im not saying I didnt want a puff sometimes.....it just wasn't a big deal. I can't say the same for Prescription drugs handed out like candy to our nations populace...what a fucking tragedy it is that so many are denied some relief......unless you are gonna harm yourself or someone else......DUMP THE PRESCRIPTION MEDS.....they do so much harm to your brain chemistry.....I grew up in the ritalin generation and parents sending their kids to shrinks simply cause they were being irresponsible kids.....those psychotropic drugs are DEVASTATING to kids....took me about a YEAR to ween off Zoloft and Depakote.....and still felt "off" for a year after.......and that was 10 years ago when I was a child.....sorry for the rant.....people gotta start living life on life's terms and quit using pharmaceutical drugs to numb feeling your supposed to have.

i dont know if this was coverd or not but try a vaperisor.. i have never used 1 myself because i never fealt the need, but i was told by a medical patient if you get the right 1 it will get even the evryday smoker super high (he stressed that the cheap ones dont work half as good as the expensive ones) and he told me about the time he blazed one of his friends with it..
i know this guy fairly well as a chronic, like this dude smokes about 20 joints of the dankest bud in 1 day of work.. 1 day of work being like 8:00 - mostly 4:00 i would always help him finish off the bag but thats still alot to smoke.. you should have heard the story when he smoked a .2 out of the vaperiser apparently he had trouble standing up and i was told the high was complex for 6 hours.. it also cuts down on weed alot too.. if i talk anymore ill talk myself into buying 1 :P

Dude I went through the same situation! Sanded off my finger tips cutting bricks on a wet saw, took me 15 minutes to roll the spliff, fingers hurt don't yuh know... ;)
edit: but in all seriousness, wrap your finger tips with surgical tape before cutting with a wet saw for extended amounts of time lol. My OP was just a joke, but the edit is serious! :D

I usually take a one week tolerance break, and that helps me a lot. I've never need to go longer than that. :)

A few days are good to lower tolerance for a few days. A 2 week or longer break is even better.
Ive been a heavy user for 26yrs and it wasnt till i had a spell in hospital that i had my first break from it (23days) and when i went back to it, i felt like i was suposed to feel. From that experience i now take regular breaks from it. At least twice a year. Its definatley something i recommend.

Two weeks is definitely enough.
Hell I've had two day tolerance breaks that got me ripped as hell.
