Seeds on Feminized **HELP**

Hi Guys, long time reader 1st time poster! i was hoping to do my 1st post with a grow journal but to my horror i have found seeds in my Feminized Skywalker, Kushberry & Bubblegummer, i had 1 Bluemoonshine in there but pulled it after coiple of weeks as it looked weak and not prodicing quick enough, i am unsure whether they have hermied or the BM seed (which was also feminized) turned out male, i cannot see any bananas but when i open a bud it has small seeds all inside it, the bud still looks good very frosty but it looks like theres gonna be loads of seeds, is the grow going to be ruined???? the plants are currently on day 32 of 12/12.



I am inexperienced but read a hell of alot and bought PH & EC tests to do things properly so to say i am gutted is an understatement i just hope all is not lost.

Not really much you can do now except find out the cause. Look high and low for the open pollen sacks on the different plants. If you find the female that hermied, take it out before it releases more pollen.

I would grow them out so that the seeds are mature and easier to pick out of the bud. Nothing worse than immature seeds, which are almost impossible to get out, and will snap, crackle, and pop when smoked. Plus smoking them gives me a headache.

Obviously the buds won't grow to their full potential, but IMO it'll be better than 2 months wasted for nothing.

Would do some more research on the breeders of feminized seeds before buying them again. Plenty of info out there if you just search around the different boards. Some are good, others are notorious for herms.

Thanks for the info, i have now done a hell of alot of research and know what banks and strain i would use if i ever did fem seeds again, i will continue to look for nanners/open pods.

How much would i lose in yield 30/40%? will the potency be affected massively?

Yield suffers as the plant concentrates on seed development rather than bulking-up.
Effects are the same, but the seed hulls taste very crappy.

Hound the vendor for replacements from their 'regular' stock, as obviously their femmed seeds either aren't for beginners, or they just suck. Either way though, a femmed strain shouldn't have males at all.

i have been hounding a vendor for some time now. I know i didnt turn 4 out of 5 fems male. not to mention they sent me wrong seeds i am no expert but i have been around awhile. Well any way Waiting to see if they hold to there promise to re-ship my order. Since they forgot to with my last order. Kinda shady isnt it. They promised to send replacement with my next order . so i made an order with my good money. then forgot to send the replacements. that i was saving them on shipping by having them send it along with my order... they contacted me today saying they will just send them out to me.why didnt they send it when they had a chance at my expence? We will see how this round and round saga ends.....

Could be there's a legitimate excuse, or perhaps they're just lazy. Perhaps they were just selling their chickens before they hatched...I don't know. But I do know there's likely a few vendors with garbage for sale, and no plans for restitution.

Best way to find out is to Google the business, and see what comments are most common.
