Nervous
Hey guys

I tryed weed sober for the first time and got a little paranoid, my heart was going quite fast and didn't like that at all!

What if I had to run? My heart was already going at a running pace!

I'm a newbie really I liked the feeling just the heart bit!
Is it safe? Is there a way for me to not have such a fast beat when smoking weed?

Maybe the more I do it my body gets used to it?

I was thinking buy some and make a j, have 2 tomes put it out see how I feel?

Maybe use a filter for my first few?

Thank you!

When I started I had some heart problems too, it really goes away with time.

Increased heart rate is a common side effect. Unless you have some pre-existing heart problem, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Another side effect of the cannabis high is becoming more aware of your body and it's functions. Your heart is beating faster and you notice it more than you would normally. If you begin to get paranoid about it, your heart rate will increase even more, in turn feeding your paranoia, etc.

It's something you get used to and stop noticing as long as you don't let your imagination run away with you.

I remember always getting the rapid pulse rate for at least 30 min into the high when I started out smoking. That is normal. If you're worried, only be if you know you have any heart conditions. Remember it has never been documented of any one dieing directly from cannabis.

You have to think all them methhead's and crackhead's on cops running their asses off while their high on speed. Couldn't imagine how fast their heart rates were going. The human body can take a lot. Remember this is normal and safe.

EDIT: I should say yes the more you smoke the more you get use to it. A lot more.
