Just try to move the air inside the room in a minute or two.

Assuming you mean *cubic* feet. That's a decent size space. Depending on your lighting choices, and if you vent the lights with the exhaust, you may find that a single 6" vent is on the ragged edge. I'd probably be looking at a good 8" or 10" inline as a minimum. I like both the Vortex and Sunleaves fans personally, with the Sunleaves seemingly being a little quieter. Running with a 6" it'll have to run at full-bore if your venting HID, it won't be very quiet. ;)

Depends on application and price range. If venting directly outside, 6" or 8" Vortex or can fan. If going from growtent to the room the growtent is in, an inline bathroom fan works.

Or, there's those attic vent fans (12-48") but that's likely overkill.

Rust T, I will be venting directly outside and plan on using 2 1000 watt HIDs as of now I plan on putting in approximately 9 feet of duct from the exhaust fan - I have built a muffler which is 5 foot long and there will be a couple of feet to ouside of building, I also have built a carbon filter to put on the inatake side as Rhizome suggested in his sticky- if need ,I will put another carbon filter in the 2 foot section, how do you feel about a 6" exhaust for 640 cubic feet or do you feel I should go 8"

go bigger than you need. you can always get a controller to crank it back a bit, but it sucks to be underpowerd. even bigger so if you are gonna be running an air-cooled hood(s).
