marijuna lighting

So I'm starting to grow at home. All is fine barr the lighting.

Can someone please give me a quick rundown on what lights to buy and where is laymans terms. I've read lots of sites about it but I'm none the wiser. I'll be growing about 10 plants in a closet, what lighting should I get?

Yeah it depends upon you which light you use. What will be your budget and what type of returns are you expecting and all those things few good lights are
Fluorescent Bulb
Mercury Vapor
Metal Halide
High P. Sodium

I suggest ugo checkout ur local hydro shops, talk w/them & explain what ur needs are, as well as ur budget (The most important thing is $$$...), & more often than not hyro shop owner's/operators r willing 2 give ton's of free (But, good advise.).

In the end, there r many different combinations 2 work with (Combinations of Hi*LUX GRO by USHIO * Made in Germany[/B]; Super MH / Conversion - AMH-400 - Opti-Blue: 1 x 400W 7,000K; Super HPS - AHS 600 - Opti-Red: 2 x 600W 2,100K, & for finishing the last 2 weeks of flowering use a "SUNPULSE" MH 10,000 K to bring up the quality/potency of the THC...).

Talk w/ur hydro shop owners.
