Just a fun little fact.....
Little-known fact: Obama's failed stimulus program cost more than the Iraq war | Washington Examiner (http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/blogs/beltway-confidential/Little-known-fact-Obamas-failed-stimulus-program-cost-more-than-the-Iraq-war-101302919.html)

Bush spent $850B in 2008 on his recovery programs. Obama's will cost $787B over ten years.
Obama's plan:
$288B in tax cuts, for both individuals and businesses.
$155B to sure up health care (including Medicaid, Veterans Health, COBRA, etc)
$100B in education spending so that schools didn't have to fire all of the teachers.
$82B in low-income help, like unemployment insurance, social security, vocational training, etc.
I say he should have let the economy collapse. Let all of the banks and businesses fail, and have unemployment rise to 100%. That would have been the better choice.

You'll find the Iraq War involved a little more blood and orphans, though--unless you want to talk in pure abstractions, of course.

No, the civilian Death Count released by Iraqi's.....ya know...THAT LIVE IN IRAQ, show its far, far, less than the over inflated numbers the American left tries to publish.
Yup.....all those companies should have been left to fail....run a bad buisness and you deserve to LOSE to the competition.....buy a home you can't afford and you DESERVE to lose that house and live in something you can afford....like an apartment. But hey, maybe Chevy's 41,000$ dollar LEMON (Volt) and new cologne will save them from oblivion in the coming decade.
Did you get your 100% unemployment numbers from Mad magazine if we had let those companies fail? Cause that's 100% uneducated and/or informed.
Dems are finished as a majority. Tune in Nov. 3rd for the laughfest.

Even the Presidents party is distancing themselves and admitting that they got diddley squat for all the wasteful and frivilous spending the Dems have done. Here is Michael Bennett (D) of colorado saying the EXACT same thing
Bennet Says We Have Nothing to Show For All of Our Debt, Will Not Commit to Position on Card Check | Greeley Gazette (http://www.greeleygazette.com/press/?p=5029)
Its the Dems who are actually unraveling right now as the most fiscaly irresponsible administration in history......waterloo:pimp:

If you think debt is a new concept for america, you are an idiot. We have been in debt since WW2, it is part of keynsian economics. We have a lot of debt now, but in the overall scheme of things, we always have. We'll manage it the same way we always have, in fact, the last person to successfully manage our debt was a democrat. Maybe we should give them a term of two, since repubs squandered their last 2?

Yup.....all those companies should have been left to fail....run a bad buisness and you deserve to LOSE to the competition.....
Just curious - if that happened, where would you be buying your food, gasoline, etc. from? If the banks failed, nearly every goods+service company in the country would have failed (a la Circuit City, as large companies run on credit)
Republicans like yourself seem to live in a world where truth and reality just don't exist. You believe in these grand concepts like "no welfare" and "no taxes" and "no government intervention in anything". Dream on. Republicans always raise taxes, spend more, and pry even deeper into the private lives of citizens.
You're on a marijuana forum - talk about an issue that liberals fight for, and conservatives treat like the first step towards apocalypse.
well one silver lining to all this is the new Camaro! :pimp: f'n badass. I got get one. :D that alone makes the bail out worth it in my opinion.

NO CAMARRO BOAZ.......my nextdoor neighbor got one in May....sweet.....black SS with red racing stripes........and it had so many problems.......still does. Guy curses the thing. Thats just one dudes expierience though. If your gonna take on debt in this market....make it count I suppose. The Dodge Challenger looks way tighter anyway, way better. Especially with 24 in Center Line racing rims and tires and a cherry bomb exhaust kit. Like whoa.
Bush's regime sold us on BS to invade Iraq....no doubt......but atleast the world is rid of a man that uses chemical weapons on his own civilian population, committs genocide, and used acid baths........the "stimulus" of working americans tax dollars got us JACK SHIT. A chevy cologne and a 41,000$ dollar chevy volt that hardly anyone will buy. Gee thanks......my kids are pumped.
^ thats too bad, they sure look cool tho. :smokin: prolly made in canada or mexico anyway. think I'll stick with my mustang, its paid for.

And Ford didnt have to take taxpayer money for bad buisness choices and leadership.......and its FREAKING PAID FOR.
They are practically giving away Chevy's though.....I swear some dealerships will give you a BJ to buy a Chevy right now.

And the Congressional Budget Office backs this up with its own report released yesterday........Nobody wants to hear anything about the cost of the Iraq war from Democrats ever again.
FOXNews.com - CBO: Eight Years of Iraq War Cost Less Than Stimulus Act (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/08/30/cbo-years-iraq-war-cost-stimulus-act/)
8 YEARS OF THE IRAQ WAR COST LESS THAN THE STIMULUS. And.....in the midst of the Iraq war.....the deficit was actually going down. There is even a pretty graph that highlights this for those who cant seem to read and understand.:)

The revised number for Obama's plan, again, was $787B, not the $862B number used in the story.
And, the money spent by Obama went to Americans. Bush's $700B spent on Iraq? Went into thin air.
Republicans always scream about tax cuts. Well You just got nearly $300 BILLION in tax cuts from Obama. Why are you complaining about the number?!

citing fox news as your source is laughable. open up your skull and let beck and o'reilly put thoughts in your head so you don't have to think for yourself.

I'm not sure if you're defending the CBO or lambasting it? They revised the number and Fox chose to ignore that in their story. It's not surprising.

The big chunks of taxpayer money were TARP, Bailing out the banks, and keeping AIG afloat, along with Freddy and Fannie, with theit implied backing of the treasury, were all done in the last two months Of The Bush Administration.
In Bush's final quarter he ran up 2.3 trillion and stuck it on the credit card. When all of Bush's bills are paid for (never happen) it will be in the 5 trillion range. And that's not counting the Iraq debacle. Or his borrowed tax cuts for the super rich.
Five trillion in 90 days. In the end that's what we got stuck with thanks to the Republican "bail out". Given to kick the can down the road to Obama.
And you want to whine about 750 billion stimulus? You guys piss away trillions, then Obama comes in, and all of a sudden you care about the deficit? You didn't give a shit about it for the last 8 years, and now you care? Bullshit. Need I remind you AGAIN of Dick ,I have no heart, Chaney and his statement. And I quote "Defictits do not matter" unquote.
Let's face it. You want Obama to fail. And by that you want the country to fail. Your inability to cross party lines, not to mention your rejection of those that did, speak volumes about you and your ilk.
Now be a coward and change the subject. Go sprinkle some more of you shit balls through this MMJ board.
You have the honor of being the only person on my ignore list. Now go back there.
