lighting recommendations wanted and where to buy

I am building an 8x10 grow room with a gable roof - to act as a hood for heat collection and exhaust hoses- what would the ideal lighting setup be for this space- at this time I plan on 2 -1000 watt switchable- I will get vented reflectors with sealed glass lens-how does this sound and what kind of light spread would I achive- wher to purchase- I have about $700 I can spend on the lighting- the room itself with air control- cooling, heating and venting are my first concerns- can always add lighting as funds improve

I bought 2 Hydrofarm 1000 watt dimmable ballasts. These things are top of the line! You would think that Hydrofarm would have been the ones to had come out with a digital ballast sooner.. I think they waited to see what problems could occur with other ballasts out there. That way they were able to build a better reliable product.. Check it out! Still got money for your hoods.
