Is your top shelf stuff still $75 an eighth plus tax? I too had a bad experience with a "know it all" kid budtender who had been growing for 10 years but wasn't much older than 20.

It sounds like you met the same person as Canaguy.

Again, I am truly sorry that you had this interaction and obviously he does not have 10 years growing experience. I am the only grower for the loft, and am the one with that experience. I am sure I have not met you as I have only been in the store a day or two before turning over the former staff.

That being said, I am 25 years old and I have been growing indoors, under multi-kw setups since I was 16 years old. As my attitude is humble, I don't use my years of experience to talk myself up, I just let my bud do the talking. I am more than accepting of criticism, and I am glad you came to this thread to let us know your disappointment. Please let me fix it.

Currently, we only have one strain at that elevated price. It was from a vendor and was very expensive, but it is also incredible. Everything else on the menu is between $45-65 an eighth. All members get 15% off, but please send me an email at [email protected] and I will extend the offer to you for your next visit. It will be in the computer so just notify the budtender when you come in.

Again, I am truly sorry and deeply apologetic for your poor experience.

I agree that nothing should be over street prices. At the same time, with the 15% discount, many of our strains come out to around the same or less than street price (using $50 as the measure) and are in the 'A' range. We are working hard everyday to lower prices!

I would like everything on the menu to be $45, which hopefully will become possible when the winter biz picks up!

How much for the sky walker? That's a Cali strain. Did you bring it with you and grow it here, or is it grown in Cali? Are you guys going to sell clones now that you got ride of those uptight assholes that used to run the place. Is Cory Mcneil still the owner? Hopefully you can straighten that place out.

Thanks so much for the kind words. It has been a bit of an uphill battle and I certainly appreciate it. Yes, Cory McNeill is still the owner - things got out of hand when he was out of town for surgery/recovery. We sincerely apologize for the state of affairs the last few months.

The Skywalker OG is CO grown, but the cutting originates from cali. It's a great strain, first time I personally have smoked it. I believe the price will be in the 60 range. Send an email to breckloft@gmail with your name and we will get you 15% off on your next visit so you can try some stuff out at a reduced price. There isn't much we have that is over $50 after the discount.

Just so ya know - the skywalker OG wont be in the shop until the afternoon. I still gotta bring it over there and wont be there till at least noon.

Sorry I neglected to address your clone request.

I know that at this time we do not have the plans to carry clones in place. To be honest, it is something that we have had little/no demand for, but you certainly have given me something to think about.

I am a long-time grower but a bit new to the MMC business and will have to make sure that we are allowed to carry them in our location. I am thinking there is a possibility that we aren't allowed to because we are on main street in Breck (actually fairly sure this is the case) but I will see what we can do for you. I know that we are not allowed to grow there due to town code and have to grow offsite.

No matter - your input is important, appreciated, and has alot of impact. I am literally going to go make some calls right now to find out what we can do.

The member pricing debacle. I would like to get some input from the membership here. You all seem to be thoughtful and more than willing to help us.

I am pulling to change our pricing. Currently, our prices are a bit elevated, but members get 15% off.

I would like to change the system so that all of our prices are lowered 10% on the menu and all primary patients get a free 1/8 every month or something like that.

Just curious what your thoughts are because personally, I love hooking up our primary patients, but not at the expense of everyone else.

Yes it is legal statewide, you can get a card in denver and come here whenever you'd like. You need to be CO resident, either having a driver's license or other proof of residency to get a card but your card works statewide. You can choose to designate a primary cargiver usually for a benefit of some sort (like reduced pricing or free product from time to time) which relinquishes your right to grow for yourself.

Or you can grow for yourself!

Thanks for coming by the other day. I wanted to be in the shop but I wasn't sure when you were stopping by and my responsibilities lie primarily elsewhere.

The new price for Earth is currently 60/55 (non-member/member). The ISS is also on the top-shelf but it's been on sale for the last two weeks at $50 for everyone. We put it on sale basically all the time so I don't have a problem if you want to put that in your review. Currently we only have product on the middle and top shelves but we will get some nice product on the lower-price point soon. Either way I am going to try and have lots of sales on higher priced bud so those with limited budgets can try everything. We're just taking it one step at a time right now.

Yeah, I do my best with the strain lineage and nomenclature but it definitely gets a little convoluted with alot of 'educated guessing' going on in the other shops. So when I don't know, I'll tell ya what I 'think' but certainly won't rep it as a fact.

Overall we liked it just about as much as the ISS, it just didn't have the raw potency the ISS seemed to possess.

To make things clear, the majority of our staff actually prefers to smoke B+ to A- type of strains on a "daily smoking" type of basis. The As are generally the more potent varieties that give you a bit of a surprise, and the A+s are the truly transcendent samples that basically change the way you perceive that strain or marijuana in general, as well as some ineffable "that's the one" feelings that are tough to articulate. That's why we don't have any A+'s up currently heh... we recently cleaned out the archives and haven't found one that we all agreed on as an A+ yet. Saving that rating for the absolute best of the best.

Anyway, just wanted to speak on our overalls a little bit since some people aren't clear on what each tier represents to us. I'm an A- guy myself 95% of the time and would love to have this Earth around for days when I need a mental uplift without being totally zonked out or on the damn moon. Great blend of the two parental strains, especially in the smell area... damn fine Kush hybrid!

Hey - no hard feelings about the A-. The last batch of earth that I put out was definitely not the best; I feel pretty strongly that given a better sample you'll give an A or maybe an A+. The other batches were really good.

I think the fact that it was popcorn as well as the actual plant that it came from hurt the thc percentage and the perceived experience alot. I personally didn't keep any from that one plant for this reason.

I am definitely looking forward to giving you additional samples of earth as well as other strains in the future! I am positive that given another blind test you will get better nugs of earth. :D

We have a couple of really awesome ideas for promotion once the business picks up in line with winter traffic. We want to do pow day deals, breck opening day deals, weekly and daily deals (ie say you buy an eighth on tuesday, maybe tuesday we weigh 4g)

We definitely plan to do alot of specials with the space nugs, honey buds, space glass (absolute amber), bubble etc. I can def see a sale price amber day because its pretty pricey (mainly cuz it takes so so much bud to make any sizable amount)
