i would like to know the quantity of tincture made from cannabis. i know it may vary alittle, but what I would like to know is if i make a tincture of say 1 ounce of cannabis how much tincture would i get aprox. thanks a bunch!

It completely varies on a case-by-case basis depending on how it was made and what it's made of. I've used tinctures where a couple drops will knock me off my ass, but I've also tried tinctures where teaspoons of it did next to nothing.

thanks i understand the strength of the tincture varies from strain to strain greatly. what i am asking for is the amount of tincture tipically produced not the power of it. thanks for answering though :)

Probably the wrong question. A tincture is a mixture of active ingredients and a solvent to keep it liquid. The quality of the initial oil and the amount of solvent left makes a big difference in potency.
If you are using bud for the extraction, you can get up to ~about 25% by weight oil, but most likely closer to 15/18%. The amount of solvent dilution determines the final weight.

greywolf thanks so much! yeah i must have worded it wrong but what you gave me is what i needed thanks so much! now i can approximate the saturation of my olive oil
