5 Feminized PPP seeds from Nirvana (Sent me out two batched because the first got confiscated by New Zealand customs, opps.)
[attachment=o252958]

Process:
Planted two seeds on 04/Aug/2010 into Jiffys in glass cups with Gladwarp as a humidity dome. 18/6 Light under 4 CFL's. Kept very humid + 25°C.
After 3 (07/Aug/2010) days, both had popped and were visible. So planted a third on that day.
After a few days, transplanted into Mountain Dew bottles. With 75% Yates premium potting soil + 25% perlite. Cut the the jiffy bags off at this point.

All 6 bulbs are in, hottest temp 30°C, coldest maybe 15 while lights off.
Watered roughly 100ml pure water each per day for a few days.
Went to 100ml Thrive All Purpose fert (27 - 11 - 12) at 1/3 dose, few days.
Went to 100ml 1/2 dose, few more.
Now on full dose 100ml. The ladies seems fine, in no way discoloured or showing any nute burn. Plus my number 1 is huge compared with the other 2. I think 2 got transplant shock and well plant 3 is 3 days younger.

And that's up to now, Day 12 since 1&2 popped.

Plant 3, day 9.

Near Future:
I am going away for a week in a week (confusing I know). So I'll let the ladies do their thing while I sus an automatic watering system + a way to stop them stretching and touching the lights.
I plan to start flowering as soon as I'm home (Lady 1+2 should be 25 days old). At which point should I re-pot? Will it shock them?
I was thinking, transplant, wait few days, one day dark, then 12/12. Comments on that method?

More that a few weeks into ze future:
Get ventilation sorted! PC fans + homemade carbon filter with piping.

I will try update weekly, depends how busy I get sorry.

Please do comment + question. If you want me to explain anything better, or take pics I have no problem. Hopefully this helps new growers + New Zealanders ;)

Thanks,
Phant0m

Yo Guys,
Long time since update!

Okay so basically due to family matters I had to leave for like 2 weeks and the 3 original plants died. :(

So, as soon as I was back home I started the last 2 seeds. Gave 'em two weeks veg @ 18/6.

Switched to 12/12 and they're now coming into their 8th week of flower.

Week 7 of Flower

Just tonight I trimmed all the fan leaves off, only leaving the buds to grow. Whats this technique called?

ImageShack: Host and Share your Photos and Videos - week8floweraftertrim.jpg (http://img259.imageshack.us/i/week8floweraftertrim.jpg/)
Trimmed leaves

As you can see, I spread the plants apart with wire throughout growth because the CFL light penertration being terrible. So from week 6 of flower, I installed a 150W MH to go with the 6x20W 2700K CFL's and the 2x23W 6700K CFL's for a total of ~316W.

So they'll have untill 8 weeks till I harvest. Time is an issue, and normally this strain goes 10 weeks so I'm not sure how this will affect my harvest.
To try combat the lack in over all flower time, I've tried to speed up the process with ferts from flowering week 1 to 6. Then 1 week of normal water, and 1 week none.
And now in this last week I'm increasing the amount of dark hours by half an hour less per day. Will end up on 10/14.

I'm aiming for 1/2oz per plant, whats your guess?

Alright PhantOm

Just a quick question if you dont mind. I have a closet grow on the go 1
(Green House Seed A.M.S) she's about 2 foot flowering for the last 2 weeks but i also have 8 bagseed in veg about 3 weeks or over in the same closet. I noticed on your Log that you only veg your two seeds for two weeks and were using cfl's like me so the question is do you think i can flower my bagseed
and will they yield about the same as your two.

The reason i ask is because i always thought it was to early to flower
seed at 20 days or so. can post pic's if you like. thanks bro:hippy:

p.s i hope its not gone to long and you dont notice my post.

Just curious as to why you added a MH to the flowering stage? The MH are better for veg. I would have added a HPS and I bet results would've been a little better.

Nice flowers by the way, for only veging 2 weeks!!! Good job.

You can start flowering at any time but it is up to the strain when it decides to start flowering. Some plants will not start to flower until they are older and mature enough. You also will not be able to base your yield on phantom's yield, they will be different for sure. Good luck and keep updated!!!

:wtf: Huh?? Is that like you have to open the door to open the door?? The rest of your post I'll go along with but not the flowering thing. You can veg forever as long as you dont have an auto-flowering strain. WE put our plants into flower by changing their light cycle tricking them into thinking that it time to flower. That only pertains to NON auto-flowering strains. That was a good one though, it got a chuckle going anyways

I think you took what I said all wrong but it's cool. Here's he long version...Plants will grow during a flowering cycle but they will not start to flower until they are mature enough for that particular strain. I also know that a plant will veg forever but he wanted to know about flowering early. I didn't say anything about trying to flower in a veg light cycle. Nice try on trying to catch me slippin though!!!!

you guys need a way better setup then that...not enough lights....flower is not compact... try ordering 1000HPS light and you will get better flower!

LOL!

Yeah, we are all rookies when joining a new forum. :rastasmoke:

600w HPS would be a better choice, more lumens per watt!,.... but then I didn't read everything! :stoned:

Ok well I guess the next time someone says they are doing a micro grow that they can't flower a plant that vegged for 2 weeks and is about 10" tall because plant isn't mature enough. No wonder why I stay in the Hydro area, you all ready know everything here so dont take my word for anything but I have logs and such to prove I know what I'm talking about.

Later :abduct:
