As you may know one of the DOH rule changes restricts board members from being employees of a producer non-profit. Many non-profits were actually formed by three or more patients. And consider the 3 patient rule is a minimum not a max. My point is that the near future could see many board positions open up . Serving your community is a rewarding, worthwhile effort. In the internet age community is not restricted to propinquity. If you would like to serve we would be very appreciative if you would consider BuddingHope. We can set up an interview by phone or in person. If you cannot travel due to illness or finances we will meet you.
Sincerely CEO@ BuddingHope

Lets just say that "Money" and "Budding Hope" have never met. We are the scrap metal selling type. We are regulars at farmers markets. We can our fruits and veggies. We are not fancy folks. When you don't have money it allows you to focus on priorities. We are organized. We have a great plan. We are builders. We have solid genetics (and always looking). We have great grow supplies. We have nice greenhouses. The nicest things we have pertain to our grow/security. We have knowledge, experience, and expertise.

Rest assured, Budding Hope will work to fill every patient needs possible. We want to be very personal with patients....and we will be personal because honestly, we don't have cubicles and a call center with a coffee bar and 10 employees.

Just to clear some things up: from what I understand, the DOH sendout is missing our mailing address. I don't want to post the address here, but if you keep an eye on the website, I will get that, along with reg/hipaa forms up within the next week or so.
As for our phone number, as soon as our little office is in working order, we will post that (hopefully soon). For now it is just email/fax/snail mail.

Thank You
Budding Hope

I have been contacted by, and am currently serving on 2 boards. I agree that being a board member is a duty we all need to consider if health permits. I'm somewhat disturbed by the concept of a paid board, (outside of reimbursment for expenses.). That being said, everyone has their own business model, and I'm not here to point fingers...Once again, thanks...BB
